❏ Kein manueller Empfang möglich?
• Ist ein externes Telefon an Ihrem Telefax angeschlossen?
Ist an Ihrem Telefax kein externes Telefon angeschlossen, können Sie
nicht manuell empfangen.
• Befindet sich ein Dokument in Ihrem Telefax?
Entfernen Sie das Dokument. Solange ein zu sendendes Dokument in
Ihrem Telefax eingelegt ist, können Sie nicht empfangen.
• Haben Sie die Taste [START/KOPIE] erst nach Auflegen des Hörers
gedrückt?
Drücken Sie die Taste [START/KOPIE] immer, bevor Sie den Hörer
auflegen, da sonst die Verbindung unterbrochen wird.
❏ Schlechte Druckqualität?
• Verwenden Sie die richtige Papiersorte?
Achten Sie darauf, daß Ihr Empfangspapier für Ihr Telefax geeignet ist.
Siehe S. 7.
• Ist die Tinte in der Tintenpatrone aufgebraucht?
Ersetzen Sie die Tintenpatrone. Siehe S. 103.
• Erstellen Sie eine Kopie mit Ihrem Telefax. Ist das Bild in Ordnung,
funktioniert Ihr Gerät normal. Nehmen Sie in diesem Fall Kontakt zur
Gegenstelle auf, und bitten Sie, das dortige Faxgerät zu überprüfen.
❏ Kein Empfang unter Verwendung der Fehlerkorrekturfunktion
(ECM) möglich?
• Unterstützt das Faxgerät der Gegenstelle die ECM-Funktion?
Einige Faxgeräte unterstützen diese Funktion nicht. Ist dies bei dem
Faxgerät der Gegenstelle der Fall, wird das Dokument im normalen
Sendemodus ohne Fehlerkorrektur übertragen.
• Ist Ihr Telefax auf ECM eingestellt?
Die ECM-Funktion kann ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Prüfen Sie
die aktuelle Einstellung. Siehe S. 85.
❏ Kein Ausdruck?
• Haben Sie vor Installation der Tintenpatrone den orangefarbenen
Schutzstreifen von der Patrone entfernt?
Entfernen Sie den orangefarbenen Schutzstreifen von der
Tintenpatrone, bevor Sie sie einsetzen. Siehe S. 12.

• Einige Faxgeräte können das CNG-Signal, das Ihrem Telefax einen
Faxanruf ankündigt, nicht senden. In solchen Fällen müssen Sie die
Start-Taste drücken.
