❏ Sind Ihre Ausdrucke fleckig oder ungleichmäßig?
• Verwenden Sie die ECM-Funktion bei Sendung/Empfang?
ECM kann diese Probleme bei Sendung/Empfang verhindern. Bei
sehr schlechten Verbindungen müssen Sie jedoch den Vorgang
eventuell wiederholen.
• In welchem Zustand befindet sich das Faxgerät der Gegenstelle?
Beachten Sie, daß die Qualität des Dokuments normalerweise vom
sendenden Gerät abhängt. Möglicherweise sind der Dokumenteinzug
oder das Vorlagenglas des Gegenstellengeräts verunreinigt.
TELEFONIEREN
❏ Kein Wählen möglich?
• Ist das Telefax an die Telefonleitung angeschlossen?
Prüfen Sie, ob das Telefax korrekt an die Telefonleitung
angeschlossen ist. Siehe S. 15.
•Ist das Telefax auf das richtige Wahlverfahren eingestellt
(Impuls- oder Mehrfrequenzwahl)?
Wenn Ihre Telefonleitung die Impulswahl voraussetzt, müssen Sie das
Telefax entsprechend einstellen. Falls Sie nicht wissen,
welches Verfahren für Ihre Telefonleitung erforderlich ist, wenden Sie
sich bitte an die nächste Niederlassung der Telekom. Siehe S. 16.
❏ Wird die Verbindung unterbrochen, während Sie mit dem
externen Telefon telefonieren?
• Zeigt das Display ANRB MODUS an?
Wird ANRB MODUS angezeigt, drücken Sie die Taste
[EMPFANGSMODUS], um eine andere Einstellung zu wählen. Die
Einstellung ANRB MODUS sollte nur verwendet werden, wenn ein
Anrufbeantworter angeschlossen und eingeschaltet wird, um
Nachrichten von Anrufern aufzuzeichnen.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, daß die Tintenpatrone richtig installiert ist.
Siehe S. 12-14.
• Reinigen Sie den Druckkopf mehrmals hintereinander. Siehe S. 102.
• Setzen Sie versuchsweise eine neue Tintenpatrone ein.
