Fehlersuche
• Wurde das Dokument richtig in den automatischen Dokumenteinzug (ADF)
eingelegt?
Entfernen Sie das Dokument und legen Sie es richtig in den Einzug ein.
Siehe S. 49.
❏ Kann unter Verwendung der Fehlerkorrekturfunktion (ECM)
nicht gesendet werden?
• Unterstützt das Faxgerät der Gegenstelle die ECM-Funktion?
Einige Faxgeräte unterstützen diese Funktion nicht. Ist dies bei dem
Faxgerät der Gegenstelle der Fall, wird das Dokument im normalen
Sendemodus ohne Fehlerkorrektur übertragen.
• Ist Ihr Telefax auf ECM eingestellt?
Die ECM-Funktion kann ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Prüfen Sie
die aktuelle Einstellung. Siehe S. 85.
EMPFANG
❏ Kein automatischer Empfang möglich?
• Ist Ihr Telefax auf automatischen Empfang eingestellt?
Damit das Telefax automatisch empfängt, muß im Display entweder
FAX/TEL, AUTOM EM oder ANRB MODUS zu sehen sein.
Drücken Sie die Taste [EMPFANGSMODUS], um eine dieser
Einstellungen auszuwählen. Siehe S. 71 u. 73.
•
Prüfen Sie, ob alle im Speicher empfangenen Dokumente ausgedruckt
wurden. Siehe S. 71.
• Prüfen Sie, ob das Display eine Fehlermeldung anzeigt. Siehe S. 111.
• Drücken Sie das Journal aus und prüfen Sie, ob es Fehlercodes
enthält. Siehe S. 88, 111.
❏ Ihr Telefax schaltet nicht automatisch zwischen Telefonanrufen
und Faxempfang um.
• Zeigt das Display FAX/TEL an?
Damit das Telefax automatisch zwischen Telefon- und Faxanrufen
umschaltet, muß das Display FAX/TEL anzeigen. Drücken Sie die
Taste [EMPFANGSMODUS], um die Einstellung FAX/TEL MODUS
auszuwählen. Siehe S. 71.
• Prüfen Sie, ob alle im Speicher vorhandenen Dokumente ausgedruckt
wurden. Siehe S. 75.
• Prüfen Sie, ob das Display eine Fehlermeldung anzeigt. Siehe S. 111.
