3. City Mode Button
The CITY mode is operated through the CITY button available on the
Standby screen and has been designed to help reduce unwanted signals
generated by GPS. There are three possible modes to choose from,
’CITY’, ’MOTORWAY’ or ’ALL’. To change from ’CITY’ to ’MOTORWAY’
simply press the button below ’CITY’ on the display once. The icon will
change to ’MWAY’ to confirm your selection. To change from ’MWAY’ to
’ALL’ press the button again. The icon will change to ’ALL’ to confirm your
selection. To return to the ’CITY’ setting press the button once again. The
icon on the display will change to ’CITY’ to confirm your selection.
CITY MODE
In CITY mode the Snooper S6 will ignore any alert generated through
GPS that is actually located on a Motorway that is in range of your device
but not an immediate threat to you, as you are not actually travelling on
that section of road. Important: laser and radar alerts remain unaffected.
Please note that whilst in the CITY mode the device will not detect
any locations on Motorways or ’M’ roads so you need to remember
to switch to either the ’MWAY’ or ’ALL’ settings when driving on a
Motorway or ’M’ road.
MOTORWAY MODE
In MWAY mode the Snooper S6 will ignore any alert generated through
GPS that is actually located on a none Motorway road that is in range of
your device but not an immediate threat to you, as you are not actually
travelling on that section of road. If your speed drops below 20mph the
device will sound an audible alert and ’Switch Modes?’ will be shown on
the display to remind you that you may no longer be travelling on a
section of Motorway and may need to change the mode to ’CITY’ or ’ALL’.
Important: laser and radar alerts remain unaffected.
Please note that whilst in the MWAY mode the device will not detect
any locations on none Motorway roads so you need to remember to
switch to either the ’CITY’ or ’ALL’ settings when leaving an ’M’ type
road.

7. Saving new co-ordinates
If in the unlikely event that you pass the location
of a Safety Camera and your Snooper S6 does
not provide an alert, the S6 gives you the
opportunity to upload the co-ordinates of the
location manually. Simply park safely as close
as possible to the site and press the new
location button. An icon will appear on the
display to confirm that the location has been
saved successfully. Next time you perform a
download you will get the opportunity to upload
the new site for verification. If verified successfully the co-ordinates will
be added to our master database.
If during the period before you perform your next download, you pass the
site again your S6 will now alert you to the new location. As the device
does not know what type of system you are passing the display will
describe it simply as ’MEMO’ and the number of that co-ordinate in the
units memory.
Features & Settings
1.Alert Settings
