3 • Starting the generator
Press the illuminated ON/OFF switch (E); it will
switch on. The Water Control indicator lights
will come on then progressively switch off (F)
during the heating of the tank.
When the steam is ready, the Water Control
light will remain stationary and indicate the
water level in the tank (G).
During ironing, the light on the iron will go on
and off according to heating requirements.
4 • Steam ironing
Set the thermostat dial (H) according to the
type of fabric to be ironed see table below and
set the steam output (I) (depending on model)
- see table below. The thermostat light comes
on (J).
The steam generator and the iron are ready for
ironing when the Water Control indicator lights
are on and not blinking and the iron light is
turned off.
To obtain steam, press on the steam control
button on the iron handle (K). The steam will
stop when you release the button.
When the last Water Control light blinks (
L),
the tank is almost empty. You can still iron one
item.
5 • Dry ironing
Do not press on the steam control button (K).
If you are using starch, it should be sprayed
onto the reverse side of the fabric to be ironed.
6 • Vertical steam ironing
Set the iron temperature dial and the steam
flow adjustment dial (according to model) to
the max. position.
Hang the garment on a coat hanger and hold
the fabric slightly taut with one hand.
Press repeatedly on the steam control button
(K) (on the iron handle) moving the iron from
top to bottom (M).
As steam is very hot, never attempt to
remove creases from a garment while it is
being worn, always hang garment on a coat
hanger.
For fabrics other than linen or cotton, hold
the iron a few centimetres from the garment
to avoid burning the fabric.
During pauses while ironing, never put the
iron on a metal iron rest as this could
damage the iron. Instead, use the iron rest
plate on the unit: it is equipped with a non-
slip base and is designed to withstand high
temperatures.
Recommandation: To prime the steam circuit,
either before using the iron for the first time, or
if you have not used the steam function for a
few minutes, press the steam control button
several times in a row, holding the iron away
from your clothes. This will enable any cold
water to be removed from the steam circuit.

Mixed fibre fabrics : set the ironing
temperature to the setting for the most
delicate fabric. Woollen garments : press

the iron on the garment itself. This will avoid
making the fabric shiny.
Setting the steam output button:
If you are ironing thick fabric, increase the
steam output.
If you are ironing at a low temperature, set
the steam output button to the minimum
position.
For delicate fabrics (•), press the steam control
