Beginne mit dem Drehen ,
(AN/AUS-Schalter) und lege immer beide
Hände um die Kugel.
Démarre le tournage ,
(bouton ON/OFF) et pose tes mains autour de la
balle, toujours les 2 mains ensemble.
Inizia a lavorare al tornio ,
(interruttore ON/OFF) e metti sempre entrambe le
mani sulla palla di argilla.
Start the wheel turning,
(ON/OFF switch) and place your hands around the
ball, keeping both hands together.
Laat de schijf draaien ,
(AAN/UIT knop) en zet je handen om de bal, houd je
handen bij elkaar.
Höhle Deine Kugel aus.
Dafür einfach Deine beiden Daumen in die Mitte
der Kugel drücken.
Wichtig: Nicht zu tief drücken, der Boden
muss immer 1 bis 2 cm dick sein.
Creuse ta balle
en enfonçant tes 2 pouces au centre.
Important : garder un fond de 1 à 2 cm
d’épaisseur.

Per farlo basta che premi con i pollici al centro della palla.
Importante: non premere troppo in profondità, il

Make a hole in your ball,
by pushing down both of your thumbs in the middle.
Important: leave a bottom thickness of 1 to 2cm.
Maak een gat in de bal
door je duimen in het midden naar beneden te drukken.
Belangrijk: houd een bodemdikte aan van 1 tot 2 cm.
Drehen der Seiten.
Nachdem Du in der Kugel das Loch geformt hast,
die Seiten von unten beginnend nach außen
drücken.
Wichtig: Die Seiten dürfen nicht zu dünn sein,
sie fallen sonst zusammen.
Halte die Scheibe an, wenn Du die Grundform
geformt hast.
Tourne les parois
Une fois le trou formé, écarte les parois en partant du bas.
Important: ne fais pas une paroi trop fi ne elle casserait.
Quand la base est formée arrête le tour.
Prepara i lati.
Dopo aver modellato il foro, premi i lati verso l’esterno
iniziando dal basso.
Importante: i lati non devono essere troppo
sottili, altrimenti cedono.
Arresta il tornio quando hai fi nito di modellare la forma
di base.
Forming the walls,
Once the hole has been made, widen the opening, starting
from the bottom.
Important: do not make the walls too thin or they
will break.
When the base has been formed, stop the wheel.
Wanden maken.
Als het gat gemaakt is, maak dan de opening wijder,
beginnend vanaf de bodem.
Belangrijk: maak de wanden niet te dun anders
breken ze.
Als de basis klaar is, stop je de schijf.

Glätte den oberen Rand
Du kannst den oberen Rand glätten, indem
Du bei laufender Töpferscheibe den
gespannten Faden durchziehst, ohne dabei
die Hände zu bewegen!
Egalise le bord ,
Tu peux égaliser le bord en laissant tourner le tour à
l’aide du fi l, sans bouger les mains !
Liscia il bordo superiore
Puoi lisciare il bordo superiore facendo passare il
fi lo teso sul bordo con il tornio in funzione, tenendo
ferme le mani!
Even the top
With the wheel still turning, you can use the wire
cutter to even the top. There is no need to move your
hands!
Maak de bovenkant gelijk.
Als de schijf nog draait, kun je de draadsnijder
gebruiken om de bovenkant gelijk te maken. Het is
niet nodig om je handen te bewegen!
Die Grundform des Tongefäßes ist
nun fertig.
Zum Abheben von der Töpferscheibe den
Faden unter dem Gefäß durchziehen und mit
einem gut angefeuchteten Werkzeug abheben.

Per sollevarla dal tornio, fai passare il fi lo sotto

The base of your pot is ready
To detach it from the wheel, pass the wire
cutter underneath and lift it up with a well
dampened tool.
De basis van je pot is klaar.
Om de basis van de schijf af te halen, haal
je de draadsnijder er onderdoor en haal je
hem eraf met een goed bevochtigd stuk
gereedschap.

Encircle the piece with both hands and
close it gently, working from bottom
to top.

het zacht, werkend van de bodem naar
de top.
