• Hi, could you give me some advice please about cleaning an Obelink palamos 6 Tent. I believe the fabric is cotton, but it may be poly cotton. Perhaps you could let me know? It was not dried out properly last summer and when we used it this year, it had a widespread growth of mould with staining of the fabric and a few pinprick holes where the fabric had been weakened. We have washed it with 5% distilled vinegar, light scrubbing and then rinsing, which has improved the situation, but not cleaned it entirely. We accept that we will probbaly still be left with some staining.
    1. Would you recommend cleaning it any further? If so, Would you clean it with a sponge while the tent is pitched or soak the tent in a barrel in the cleaner? If you feel it would benefit from further cleaning, we will do so, we want to get it right.
    2. My second question is whether the tent would benefit from reproofing after cleaning with vinegar ? Does poly cotton need proofing or does it rely on the fibres swelling to keep out the water ? If you think reproofing is a good idea, what product would you recommend, how much would I need and how would I apply it?
    3. Do you sell any form of self adhesive or iron on material for repairing this tent?

    Many thanks,
