Waarom dient u uw bloeddruk zelf te meten?
De bloeddruk van iedere mens verandert in de loop van een dag
aanmerkelijk, veroorzaakt door psychische en lichamelijke
factoren; daartoe behoren angst, inspanning, roken, cafeïne en
stress. Op grond van deze veranderingen dient u uw bloeddruk
steeds op hetzelfde tijdstip te meten, in ontspannen toestand.
Daarna moet de arts de waarden analyseren en uw
lichaamstoestand beoordelen.
Hoe wordt de bloeddruk gemeten?
Met dit nieuwe apparaat kan de bloeddruk indirect met een rond
de pols gelegde manchet worden gemeten doordat op grond van
deze manchet de slagader in elkaar wordt gedrukt dat er geen
bloed meer door kan stromen. Als vervolgens de druk in de
manchet wordt verlaagd, kan een verband tussen de druk in de
manchet en de bloeddruk worden gelegd.
Met welke apparaten wordt de bloeddruk
gemeten?
Moderne bloeddrukmeters bevatten technisch hoogwaardige
componenten en materialen om de druk te meten, de signalen te
verwerken en waarden in LED-display weer te geven. Bovendien
meten de meeste bloeddrukmeters ook de polsfrequentie en
geven deze weer.
In deze nieuwe bloeddrukmeter is geavanceerde techniek
ingebouwd. Deze draagt eraan bij dat u of uw arts de bloeddruk
permanent correct kunnen controleren.
