Have put in new batteries but scale still does not work

- Having purchased second hand (unknown model!) without batteries. I put 2 correct CR 2032 batteries as I thought correctly. Scales did not work. Eventually I realised that the black battery case needs to be opened up by indicated by the arrow on the side. I had been placing the batteries on the outside of the case and replacing it in the scales. Scale now worked. Look closely at the battery holder to see if it opens up as indicated by an arrow on the side. Answered on 3-9-2023 at 15:23
