Manual says the Apeman 79 can accept a SD card of 64 mb but : 8576

Manual says the Apeman 79 can accept a SD card of 64 mb but I cannot get a new card to format in it. A 32 mb card works fine. I also see in another spot in manual it says up to 32 mb only. I am confused. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.
