Open the Control Panel from your Start menu, and select Network
connections.
Right click your local connection or wireless network connection (depending
on your choice of wired or wireless setup).
Select Properties > Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
Select“automatically obtain an IP address and automatically obtain DNS
server address”.
Launch System Preferences > Network.
Select the network you used to connect the router, and select Advanced if
applicable.
Under the TCP/IP tab, select“Using DHCP”for the“Configure IPv4 setting.
14. How should I choose between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks?
When connecting within a short radius of your router, we recommend that you
connect to the 5GHz network for less interference and more stability. This will allow
you to avoid other 2.4GHz wireless signals generated by common household
devices such as Bluetooths, microwave ovens, remote controls, and other Wi-Fi
networks.
When connecting at a farther distance from your router, connect to the 2.4GHz
network. This band which is better able to pass through walls and floors.

15. How can I enable automatic switching between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz
networks?
If identical SSID and security settings (security mode, password) are applied to
both the 2.4G and 5G wireless networks, your dual-band wireless devices will treat
and display them identically in your list of available wireless networks.
Consequently, your dual-band-enabled laptop may choose to automatically switch
between bands when a given networks signal becomes too weak. (This threshold
is unique to each device.)
