1- PLACE THE ZAGGmate VERTICALLY ON A NON-SLIP SURFACE.

2- USING TWO HANDS, PLACE ONE HAND ON EACH SIDE OF THE
ZAGGmate, WITH THUMBS SITUATED JUST ABOVE THE 30-PIN
CHARGING PORT, OR THE SIDE WITH KEYBOARD CUTOUT.
* MAKE SURE THE 30-PIN PORT IS ALIGNED WITH THE CUTOUT
WHEN CLOSING.
3- SECURE THE ZAGGmate WITH ONE THUMB AND THE iPAD®
WITH YOUR OTHER THUMB. APPLY SLIGHT DOWNWARD
PRESSURE TO iPAD® AND SEPARATE.

WARRANTY. YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR ZAGGmate AND
KEEP YOUR RECEIPT OF PURCHASE TO ACTIVATE THE
WARRANTY. IF YOU PURCHASED ON ZAGG.COM, ZAGG HAS
ALREADY REGISTERED YOUR ZAGGmate AND HAS YOUR
PROOF OF PURCHASE.
1- ON THE ZAGGmate, SLIDE THE POWER BUTTON ON. THE RED
STATUS LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE FOR FOUR SECONDS AND
THEN TURN OFF TO SAVE POWER. YOUR ZAGGmate IS
STILL ON.
2- CLICK ON THE BLUETOOTH BUTTON WITH A FINGERNAIL OR
POINTED SHARP OBJECT.
NOTE: THE STATUS LIGHT WILL ILLUMINATE FOR 4 SECONDS
AND THEN GO DARK TO SAVE BATTERY POWER.
3- ON THE iPAD®, SELECT:
SETTINGS > GENERAL > BLUETOOTH > ON.
4- THE STATUS LIGHT WILL FLASH ON ZAGGmate AND THE iPAD®
WILL DISPLAY “ZAGGmate” AS AN AVAILABLE DEVICE.
5- SELECT “ZAGGmate” ON THE iPAD®; THE iPAD® WILL
DISPLAY A CODE.
6- TYPE THE CODE ON ZAGGmate KEYBOARD AND PRESS ENTER;
ZAGGmate WILL NOW BE PAIRED TO THE iPAD®.
THE ZAGGmate’s BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD SHOULD ONLY
NEED TO PAIR TO YOUR iPAD® ONCE AS FOLLOWS:
YOUR ZAGGmate COMES WITH A CHARGING CABLE THAT
PLUGS INTO THE SIDE OF THE DEVICE. YOU MAY PLUG THE
OTHER END OF THE CHARGING CABLE INTO ANY USB
OUTLET, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: A COMPUTER, YOUR
iPAD® CHARGER, A ZAGGsparq™, ETC. A COMPLETE CHARGE
TAKES 2-4 HOURS.
