Japanse overheden en de kantoorapparatuurbranche om energiezuinige kopieerapparaten, printers,
faxapparaten, multifunctionele apparaten, computers en beeldschermen te promoten. Het beperken
van het energieverbruik van apparatuur helpt smog, zure regen en klimaatveranderingen op lange
termijn te bestrijden door de uitstoot die ontstaat bij de productie van elektriciteit te verlagen.

NERGY STAR-apparatuur is vooraf ingesteld op de fabriek. Wanneer uw printer wordt geleverd, is
de timer voor het overschakelen naar de energiespaarstand ingesteld op 2 minuten na de laatste
kopieer-/afdrukopdracht. Zie de System Administrator Guide (handleiding voor de systeembeheerder)
voor meer informatie over deze functie.
