10. Repair and Maintenance
Cleaning and storage of the electric scooter
If there is dirt on the surface of the electric scooter, wet a soft cloth with a small amount of clean water and wipe it. If there is dirt that is difficult to clean, spread
toothpaste on the surface and brush it over and over again with a toothbrush, and then clean it with a wet cloth. If there is any scratch on the plastic parts of the
body, sandpaper or other abrasive materials can be used to polish it.
Tips: Alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive, volatile chemical solvents shall not be used for cleaning, the appearance and internal structure of the body can
be seriously damaged. Pressure water gun shall not be used to spray and clean, the electric scooter must be switched off, the charging cable shall be unplugged
and the rubber cover of the charging port shall be fastened, or there will be serious failure caused by electrocuting or water damage.
When not in use, electric scooters shall be stored in dry and cool area and long periods of outdoor storage shall be avoided. Sun exposure /overheating
/supercooling outdoor environments will accelerate the aging of the appearance and tires of electric scooters and reduce the service life of electric scooters and their
batteries.
If you feel the brakes are too tight, counterclockwise loosen the pressure plate screws located on the disc brake seat with a M5 hex wrench, loose the brake cable slightly
to shorten its exposed tail length, and then fix the plate screws. If you feel the brakes is loose, loosen the pressure plate screws, drag the brake cable so that its exposed
tail length slightly lengthened, and then fix the plate screws.
Battery maintenance
1. Do not use batteries of other models or brands, or there may be safety risks.
2. Do not touch battery contacts, do not open or puncture the shell. Avoid short circuit caused by contact of metal objects with battery, otherwise it may cause battery
damage or casualties.
3. Original chargers are used to charge only, or else, there is a risk of damage or fire.
4. Improper disposal of waste batteries may seriously pollute the environment, Follow the local regulations on waste batteries. Do not throw away the battery unit at
will and let's protect the natural environment.
5. Please recharge the battery and store it after use, which is helpful to prolong the battery life.
Do not place batteries at temperatures above 50 or below -20 (for example, do not place electric scooters or their batteries in cars during summer), which may
cause failure and overheating of batteries and even fire risk. Please charge the battery firstl if it is not used for more than 30 days. Keep it stored in a cool and dry place
and charge it once every 60 days as a minimum, otherwise the battery may be damaged and the damage is not covered by warranty.
Charge before the power is completely empty and keeping the battery charged can greatly prolong the life of the battery. In addition, the battery unit can perform long
and well at room temperature, and perform shorter in cold conditions. Typically, at the temperature of -20 ,the life capacity and performance of the battery will be only
half or lower than that at room temperature. When the temperature climbs, the mileage range of the battery will recover.
Tip: Electric scooters will run out the storage power in about 120-180 days after standby. There is an intelligent chip inside the battery to record the charging and
discharging situation of the battery. The damage caused by no charge for a long time will result in the battery can’t be charged. If the battery is not recharged in time, it
is likely to be damaged caused by over discharge. This damage is not recoverable and is not covered by the warranty. (Note: non-professionals shall not be allowed to
disassemble the battery, otherwise it may result in a serious safety accident caused by electric shock or short circuit!)
If the front tube of your electric scooter is shaking during driving, please lock the two screws at the folding mechanism with a M 5 hexagonal wrench.
