! De derde fase bestaat uit een UV-C behandeling van het water. Het UV-C licht doodt zweef-

algen en ziektekiemen. Het resultaat is helder en gezond vijverwater.

Er zijn 3 typen VEX Vijverfilters:

! VEX-100 met een netto filterinhoud van ca. 10 liter en geschikt voor vijvers tot 6.000 liter

met een ingebouwde UV-C Unit van 7 Watt.

! VEX-200 met een netto filterinhoud van ca. 20 liter en geschikt voor vijvers tot 10.000 liter

met een ingebouwde UV-C Unit van 9 Watt.

! VEX-300 met een netto filterinhoud van ca. 30 liter en geschikt voor vijvers tot 15.000 liter

met een ingebouwde UV-C Unit van 11 Watt.

AANDACHTSPUNTEN

! Het filter is uitsluitend bedoeld voor gebruik in tuinvijvers.

! Het filter is niet geschikt voor het filteren van water warmer dan 40 °C.

! Niet gebruiken in combinatie met olie, benzine of smeermiddelen. Het filter is niet vorst-

bestendig. Het is daarom aan te bevelen het filter in de winterperiode niet te gebruiken.

! Het filter mag niet ondergedompeld worden gebruikt.

INSTALLATIE

De VEX filters worden compleet geleverd met alle benodigde filtermaterialen. Spoel voor gebruik

de filtermaterialen zorgvuldig om. De biofilterballen komen onderin het filter, daarboven wordt het

rooster aangebracht met daarin de binnenkoker. Plaats daarop de filterschuimringen, oplopend

van fijn naar grof. Plaats het deksel en sluit het filter met de bijgevoegde klembeugel. Bij een juiste

montage is het filter waterdicht tot een werkdruk van ruim 0,5 bar.

Het aansluiten van de pomp

Op het filterdeksel bevinden zich twee aansluitingen, beide voorzien van een slangtule. Op de bui-

tenste tule wordt de pomp aangesloten. Gebruik een slangdiameter die overeenkomt met de dia-

meter van de pompuitlaat. Zaag de niet gebruikte diameters van de slangtule af. De slangtule in

het midden van het deksel is de afvoer naar de vijver. Sluit op de grootste diameter van de tule een

passende slang aan. Zaag de overige diameters af. Om te voorkomen dat de slangen los schie-

ten, is het aan te bevelen slangklemmen te gebruiken.

De maximale pompcapaciteit voor de VEX-100 is 3000 l/h.

De maximale pompcapaciteit voor de VEX-200 is 6000 l/h.

De maximale pompcapaciteit voor de VEX-300 is 8000 l/h.

Nadat het filter op de juiste plek staat en de pomp is aangesloten kan de ingebouwde UV-C Unit

worden ingeschakeld.

De UV-C Unit

De VEX Vijverfilters worden compleet geleverd met ingebouwde UV-C Unit; de VEX-100 met een

7 Watt Unit, de VEX-200 met een 9 Watt Unit en de VEX-300 met een 11 Watt Unit. De UV-C PL

lampen hebben ca. 7000 actieve branduren. Dit komt overeen met een seizoengebruik van maart

tot november. De UV-C PL lampen kunnen eenvoudig worden verwisseld door de schroeven in

het bolvormige deel van het deksel los te draaien. Het is aan te bevelen aan het begin van het sei-

zoen een nieuwe UV-C PL lamp te monteren. De voordelen van UV-C zijn inmiddels alom bekend,

het maakt groen water helder en het is een uitstekend hulpmiddel bij het bestrijden van bacteriële

infecties. De VEX filters hebben een separaat compartiment, waardoor de UV-C straling niet in

aanraking komt met de filtermaterialen. Hierdoor worden de micro-organismen in het filtermateri-

aal niet geschaad.
