3.2.2 Uw nieuwe telefoonverbinding testen
Ook als de nummerportering nog niet is uitgevoerd, kunt u wel vast testen of de telefoonverbinding
werkt. Maakt u geen gebruik van nummerportering en krijgt u een nieuw telefoonnummer van
Solcon, dan kunt u na het testen de telefoonverbinding direct gebruiken.
U test de verbinding als volgt:
1. Pak de meegeleverde telefoonkabel uit de verpakking en sluit deze aan op uw telefoontoestel.
2. Sluit het andere einde van de kabel aan op de poort ‘Phone1’van het modem.
3. Controleer of u een kiestoon hoort.
• Als u geen kiestoon hoort, controleert u of de kabel goed vastzit. Als dit het geval is, start
u het modem opnieuw op door de voedingsstekker 30 seconden uit het modem te halen.
Wacht ongeveer een minuut. Hoort u hierna nog steeds geen kiestoon, controleer dan of
het ‘Voice’-lampje op het modem brandt. Indien het lampje brandt, test dan met een ander
toestel. Zo niet, stel dan het modem handmatig in. Ga hiervoor naar paragraaf 3.2.4.
4. Hoort u wel een kiestoon, bel naar het testnummer 0321-750800.
Als dit gesprek goed gaat, bent u klaar met de test en werkt uw telefoonverbinding.
Er zijn nu twee opties:
• U heeft een nieuw nummer aangevraagd via Solcon.
• U heeft portering van uw huidige nummer aangevraagd.
U heeft een nieuw nummer via Solcon aangevraagd
Indien u via Solcon een nieuw telefoonnummer heeft aangevraagd en de telefoonverbinding werkt,
dan handelt u als volgt:
Laat uw telefoontoestel aangesloten op het modem. Vanaf nu bent u alleen bereikbaar via het
nieuwe telefoonnummer. Als u ook bereikbaar wilt blijven op het oude
nummer, dan raden wij u aan uw telefoon aan te sluiten op de oude situatie, totdat uw oude
nummer ook naar Solcon is geporteerd. Als u omschakelt naar de oude situatie, moet u controleren
of u nog bereikbaar bent op via uw oude telefoonlijn.
