The arrow symbol indicates tips and notes.
A TV wall holder is not a toy. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
Selecting an unsuitable installation location can lead to personal or material damage.
Proceed with care when assembling and installing the product. The product may have sharp
edges. There is a risk of injury!
Carry out only the work on the TV wall holder that is necessary in order to install it (or to adjust
it). Never perform any conversion or repair work.
Before beginning the installation process, check whether there is an appropriate mounting
option for a TV wall bracket on the back of your TV set.
Depending on the size and design of the TV set and TV wall holder concerned, it is sensible for
a second person to help with the installation. This person can hold the TV set still, for example,
while you are attaching the TV set to the wall bracket.
Apply your full concentration when carrying out the installation, because if the TV set and/or
TV wall holder were to fall, this could cause expensive damage to the equipment and there is
the potential danger of personal injury!
Check all the screw ttings from time to time. Adjusting the position of the TV set and/or the
wall bracket and moving them can sometimes cause the screws to become loose over time.
Do not apply force when moving/adjusting the TV set or the TV wall bracket. The TV set may
get damaged from it.
When moving/adjusting, do not press on the TV set’s screen.
Do not overload the TV wall bracket. Pay attention to the details provided by the manufacturer
for the maximum TV set weight and/or its size.
Do not use the TV wall bracket to support yourself or to hold onto.
Do not x any objects to the TV wall bracket other than the TV set for which it was intended.
In case of doubt, do not perform the installation yourself. Have an expert carry out the instal-
lation.

Installation
Wall-mounting is permissible only where the wall concerned is of the correct
type and condition. Lightweight partition walls or those made from gypsum
boards with unstable substructures are normally unsuitable. However, special-
ist retailers do sometimes stock special dowel ttings for such installation lo-
cations. If you are in doubt, ask a specialist before installation.
Depending on the base wall material (e.g. concrete), suitable mounting materi-
als must be used (screws, dowels, etc.). The dowel screws enclosed are only
suitable for solid walls. Special dowels and screws are not normally supplied
with the TV wall holder and must be bought separately, depending on the type
and condition of the wall concerned.
Due to the weight of the TV set, TV wall holder and the lever action involved,
ensure that the screws are xed securely.
Plan the installation location carefully, so that the TV wall holder with the TV
set xed to it will be situated at the correct location (height and position) when
you have nished the installation.
Pay attention when drilling and tightening the screws that no cable or pipes in
the wall are damaged. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables causes the
life-threatening danger of an electric shock!
Pay special attention to your safety when using electric tools (e.g. a drill). You
should also heed the safety notes in the corresponding instructions.
Make sure no persons are in the area under the TV wall holder and/or the TV set
during the installation.
For this process, please pay attention to the pictures in the enclosed installation
instructions.
Preparation of the TV set
It is usually necessary to remove the TV set’s existing base before mounting it on a wall
bracket. Observe the operating instructions for your TV set.
Put the TV set at on a soft and clean underlay, with the display side facing downwards. Do not
apply pressure on the display. Protect valuable furniture surfaces during installation by using
a suitable pad or cloth.
Remove the existing base. Depending on the TV set, this base is either screwed in place or
clipped on.
Figure 1a (Installation with cavity wall structures):
Select the position and the height of the wall bracket at the mounting location. The attachment
holes of the mounting plate must be centred over a wooden stud or another load-bearing as-
sembly element of the wall structure. To nd this position, something like a stud nder can be
helpful.
Make sure to mount the wall bracket the right way round. The arrow on the mounting
plate with the label UP must point upward.
Use a spirit level to align the wall bracket horizontally.
Mark the necessary drilling holes at the mounting site. To this end, use the wall bracket as a
template.
Drill the required holes.
Screw the wall bracket in place with three screws (W-A or screws suitable for the mounting
surface from the dealer) and washers (W-C).
The enclosed dowels (W-B) are not used in this type of installation.
