1. Press the Programming Button on the back

of the remote until the awning jogs.

2. Press the Programming Button on the Eolis sensor

until the awning jogs.

PROGRAMMING

3. Adjust the sensor dial to (4). (1= Most sensitive,

9= Least sensitive)

4. Put the sensor electronics back in the housing.

6. Test the sensor by pushing up and down on the

awning front bar or arm until it begins to retract.

You can use the remote to stop the awning after

5 seconds (first test mode).

7. Bring it back out and test it again. You can use

the remote to stop the awning after 5 seconds

(second test mode).

8. Make adjustments to the sensitivity if needed

and test it again.

5. Slide the housing back on the mounting plate.

how do you change the battery on the sensor?
I can't get mine to slide. Do you have to pinch any area? It's not budging and I don't want to break it.

- I'm not a tech, I'm an owner. It appears that indeed the cover is supposed to slide, but I couldn't slide it either. The manual says to pop it off with a small screw driver, but when I did that I broke all the clips that hold it on, so be careful about doing that. Since there was no reply to your question after 4 months, I can only assume they don't monitor this web page. Answered on 1-6-2022 at 18:48

- On the Eolis 3D, the cover does slide off the base. On the cover there are symbols for an open and a closed padlock, with adjacent arrowheads showing the direction to slide to achieve opening or locking of the cover. Answered on 19-11-2022 at 18:38
