A BIT MORE™ button (E)
The extension function can be used during or after a toasting process.
Activating the extension function during the toasting process
Once you press the A BIT MORE™ button, the button surround lights up white.
The toasting time is automatically extended, however, this is not indicated by the
LED bar. This means that the length of the LED bar does not change. The extension
function can be stopped at any time by another press of the A BIT MORE™ button.
In that case, the originally selected toasting process is completed.
Activating the extension function after a toasting process
has been completed
1. The button surround lights up white as soon as you press the A BIT MORE™ but-
ton. The lowering mechanism automatically lowers the bread and the additional
toasting time starts. The LED bar illuminates up to the lowest roasting degree set-
ting 1 and the segment to the far right flashes to count down the additional time.
2. The TOAST/CANCEL button surround lights up red and the surround of the
LIFT AND LOOK button lights up white to indicated that the degree of roasting
can be checked at any time resp. that the toasting process can be stopped with
the TOAST/CANCEL button if the desired degree of roasting has been reached.
Approximately 10 seconds before the extension time has elapsed, the button
surround of LIFT AND LOOK™ goes out and the function can no longer be
activated.
3. When the toasting process stops and while the lifting mechanism is lifting up
the bread, the button surround of TOAST/CANCEL flashes red. The LED bar on
the other hand does not flash, instead it lights up constantly up to the selected
roasting degree.
4. Once the toasting process has been completed and the bread has been lifted
up, the Done-signal sounds. Remove the bread, the button surround of TOAST/
CANCEL lights up white for 30 seconds to indicate that the appliance is ready for
the next toasting process.
Note:
The A BIT MORE™ function can be activated in conjunction with the TOAST/
CANCEL, CRUMPET/FRUIT BREAD and FROZEN buttons.
