Einleitung
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf des WL-351/368 Wireless Gigabit Router 300N. Der
WL-351/368 entspricht dem Standard 802.11n und ist bis zu 6-mal schneller als normale
Router auf Basis des 802.11g-Standards, ist jedoch auch zu 802.11g- und 802.11b-
Geräten kompatibel. Der WL-351/368 ist nicht nur ein WLAN-Access Point, sondern
zusätzlich auch ein Vollduplex-Gigabit-Switch mit vier Anschlüssen, der die
kabelgebundenen Ethernet-Geräte bei Datenraten von 10/100/1000 Mbit/s miteinander
verbinden kann.
Bei einer drahtlosen Übertragungsrate von 300 Mbit/s verwendet der in den Router
eingebaute Access Point die fortschrittliche MIMO-Technologie (Multiple Input, Multiple
Output) zur Übertragung mehrerer Datenstreams über einen einzigen Funkkanal und
ermöglicht dadurch den unterbrechungsfreien Zugriff auf Multimedia-Inhalte. Das stabile
Funksignal hat eine größere Reichweite, eliminiert Funklöcher und vergrößert die
Netzwerkabdeckung. Zum Schutz der Daten und der Privatsphäre codiert der WL-
351/368 sämtlichen Funkverkehr mit der WEP-, WPA- oder WPA2-Verschlüsselung.
Mit dem eingebauten DHCP-Server und der leistungsstarken SPI-Firewall schützt der
WL-351/368 den Computer gegen Eindringlinge sowie die bekanntesten Angriffe aus
dem Internet und gewährleistet außerdem ein sicheres VPN-Passthrough. Mit seiner
unglaublichen Geschwindigkeit und QoS-Funktion gemäß 802.11n ist der WL-351/368
ideal für medienzentrierte Anwendungen wie Video-Streams, Spiele und VoIP-Telefonie
geeignet und kann ohne Leistungseinbußen mehrere medienintensive Datenstreams
gleichzeitig durch das Netzwerk leiten.
