Optie 2. Draadloze verbinding handmatig configureren
Voor het configureren van de draadloze interface van de WL-404 zijn de volgende gegevens
vereist:
- Network Name voor het draadloze netwerk (SSID)
- Encryptie-instellingen (WEP- of WPA-encryptie, en de encryptiesleutel voor uw netwerk).
De Network Name kunt u vinden door de netwerkstatus van één van de draadloze computers te
controleren.
Voorbeeld: de netwerkstatus van Windows XP laat zien dat het netwerk is aangesloten op
“Sitecom4631EA”.
De encryptie-instellingen kunt u vaak vinden in de configuratie van uw router of toegangspunt.
Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw apparaat als deze instellingen onbekend zijn.
1. U kunt de draadloze instelingen van de IP-camera wijzigen door de webinterface van de
camera te openen (standaard http://192.168.0.230 ) in de browser.
2. Geef de gebruikersnaam van de beheerder (administrator) en het wachtwoord op
(standaardgebruikersnaam: admin, standaardwachtwoord: admin).
3. Open het menu "Basic Settings" en klik op het tabblad "Wireless". Hier kunt u uw
draadloze configuratie-instellingen invoeren.
- Voer in het SSID-tekstvak de Network Name in.
- Selecteer het netwerktype “Infrastructure” wanneer u de camera wilt aansluiten op een
modem, router of toegangspunt.
- Kies de betreffende encryptie-instellingen in het vervolgkeuzemenu “Security System”,
en voer, indien vereist, in het tekstvak “(Pre-shared) Key” uw encryptiecode in.
4. Klik op “Save” om de instellingen op te slaan.
5. Wacht dertig seconden en start dan de camera opnieuw.
- Verwijder de netwerkkabel en schakel de stroom uit.
- Schakel na enkele seconden de stroom weer in om de camera met de nieuwe
configuratie opnieuw te starten. De camera maakt nu automatisch verbinding met het
draadloze netwerk.
KLAAR
Als het goed is, kunt u nu de camerabeelden bekijken via uw netwerk. In de volledige handleiding
