5.10. Connecting foil sensor (optional, only Pro D2i/Pro D3i)
1. Feed the wires for the sensor through the cable gland 4 into the low-voltage
connection area 1.
2. Connect the sensor cables for the sensor to the terminals labelled “FF
in terminal strip 2.
5.11. Connecting the safety cut-out
EN 60335-2-53 states that sauna control units with remote control may only be
usedforoperatingandregulatingasaunaheaterwhichhassatisedthecom-
bustion test described in paragraph 19.101.Alternatively, a suitable safety cut-out
devicecanbeinstalledinorabovetheheater.Thisshutsthesaunaheatero󰀨if
items such as a towel are placed on the sauna heater.
To install the safety cout-out device, perform the following steps:
1. Install the safety cut-out device in accordance with the operating instructions
for the device.
2. Feed the wires for the safety cut-out device through the cable gland 6 into
the low-voltage connection area 1.
3. Connect the wires for the temperature sensor to the terminals labelled “OSG
in terminal strip 2.

labelled “OSG”.
5.12. Remote start
The remote start device is connected using terminals “S”, “B” and “C”. “S” stands
for sauna mode and “C” for evaporator mode. “B” is a +24 V DC output. The pre-
ferred operating mode must be activated using a switch or actuator on the terminal.
S” and “C” can optionally be allocated to user program 1 and 2 (see “Remote
start” on page 37).
