3. Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Bitte lesen Sie sich die folgenden Punkte sorgfäl-
tig durch und folgen Sie den Anweisungen, bevor
Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen.
Gefahr:
· Vermeiden Sie die Berührung von metallischen
Gegenständen mit den Stromanschlusskontakten am
Gerät.
· Sind Batterien ausgelaufen, verwenden Sie chemika-
lienbeständige Schutzhandschuhe und Schutzbrille.
Warnung:
· Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung das Gerät auf
offensichtliche Beschädigungen. Sollten Sie Schäden
feststellen, darf dieses Gerät nicht verwendet
werden.
· Vermeiden Sie extreme Hitze und direkte Sonnenein-
strahlung.
· Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen mechanischen Stößen
aus.
· Das Gerät darf nicht geöffnet werden, da dies zu
Stromschlägen führen kann.
· Sollte ein Gerät fehlerhaft arbeiten, versuchen Sie
bitte NICHT das Problem selbst zu beheben. In
diesem Fall bitten wir Sie, sich an Ihren Händler zu
wenden.
· Tauchen Sie das Gerät, oder den Netzstecker nicht
in Wasser, andere Flüssigkeiten oder entzündbare
Reinigungsmittel, um das Risiko eines Stromschlags
und/oder Brandgefahr zu vermeiden.
Vorsicht:
· Die Nutzung in der Steckdose darf nur durch Erwach-
sene erfolgen.
· Bitte benutzen Sie den Artikel nur für den vorgese-
henen Zweck.
· Benutzen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich für den
privaten Gebrauch, es ist nicht für den gewerblichen
Gebrauch bestimmt.
· Nur für den häuslichen Gebrauch im Innenbereich
geeignet.
· Die Lichtquelle dieser Leuchte ist nicht ersetzbar;
wenn die Lichtquelle ihr Lebensdauerende erreicht
hat, ist die gesamte Leuchte zu ersetzen.
· Entfernen Sie vor Gebrauch jegliches Verpackungs-
material.
4. Inbetriebnahme
· Die Nutzung in der Steckdose darf nur durch Erwach-
sene erfolgen.
· Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Betriebsspannung des
Nachtlichtes mit der Netzspannung Ihres Stromnet-
zes übereinstimmt.
· Bei Erstaufladung das Nachtlicht aus der Base neh-
men, den Schalter auf die Position stellen (Abb.
1) und das Nachtlicht in einer geeigneten Steckdose
zwischen 8 und 10 Stunden aufladen.
4.1 Funktion
Das Nachtlicht leuchtet nur bei Dunkelheit.
· Bei der Schalterposition
bleibt es auch bei Dunkel-
heit ausgeschaltet.
· Mit (=) oder (-) wählen Sie die gewünschte Hellig-
keit aus.
· Bei Einsetzen der Dämmerung wird das Nachtlicht
daraufhin automatisch eingeschaltet.
· Bei Helligkeit wird das Nachtlicht automatisch wieder
ausgeschaltet.
4.2 Betrieb in der Steckdose
· Wählen Sie eine gewünschte Helligkeitsstufe und
stecken den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.
· Der Akku wird bei Betrieb in der Steckdose gleich-
zeitig aufgeladen.
· Das Nachtlicht kann dauerhaft in der Steckdose ver-
bleiben.
4.3 Mobiler Betrieb
· Wählen Sie die gewünschte Helligkeitsstufe, stecken
das Nachtlicht mit dem Netzstecker nach unten ge-
richtet in die Base (Abb. 1) und positionieren es an
der gewünschten Stelle im Zimmer.
· Wird das Licht nicht mehr hell genug, oder schaltet
bei Dunkelheit nicht ein, muss der Akku wieder auf-
geladen werden.
HINWEIS:
Bei Mitnahme auf Reisen oder Nichtbenutzung des
Nachtlichtes, empfiehlt es sich, den Schalter auf Posi-
tion
zu stellen. So wird verhindert, dass das Nacht-
licht eingeschaltet und somit der Akku entladen wird.
5. Reinigung und Pflege
Vor der Reinigung das Gerät unbedingt vom Stromnetz
trennen. Keine scheuernden Mittel verwenden, Gerät
mit einem feuchten Tuch säubern.
WICHTIG!: Das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten tauchen!
6. Hinweise zum Umweltschutz
Batterien/Akkus und elektronische Altgeräte
sind Rohstoffe und gehören nicht in den Haus-
müll, sondern müssen an einer Sammelstelle
für Batterien/Akkus und elektrische Geräte abgegeben
werden. Verbraucher sind gesetzlich verpflichtet, Batte-
rien/Akkus und elektrische Altgeräte sachgerecht zu
entsorgen. Mit der Wiederverwendung, der stofflichen
Verwertung oder anderen Formen der Verwertung von
Batterien/Akkus und Altgeräten leisten Sie einen wich-
tigen Beitrag zum Schutz unserer Umwelt. Im batterie-
vertreibenden Handel, im Versandhauslager sowie in
kommunalen Sammelstellen stehen kostenlos Batte-
rie/Akku-Sammelbehälter bereit. Zur Entsorgung eines
Altgerätes fragen Sie bitte bei Ihrer Gemeindeverwal-
tung nach der zuständigen Entsorgungsstelle. Das ne-

3. General safety instructions:
Please read the instructions carefully prior to in-
stalling or using this device. Otherwise, the item‘s
safety functions could be impaired. Please keep
the instructions in a safe place for future reference.
Danger:
· Avoid bringing the battery and/or electrical connec-
tion contacts on the unit into contact with
metal objects.
· If batteries have leaked, use chemical resistant
protective gloves and protective glasses.
Warning:
· Check the unit for visible damage before each use. If
you detect any damage, do not use the
unit.
· Avoid extreme heat and direct sunlight.
· Do not subject the device to physical shocks.
· The unit must not be opened, as this may cause an
electric shock.
· If a unit does not work correctly, please do NOT try to
fix the problem yourself. Please
contact your dealer regarding any problems.
· To avoid the risk of electric shock and/or fire hazard,
do not submerge the unit or the plug in water, other
fluids or flammable cleaning materials.
Caution:
· The socket may only be used by adults.

· The bulb in this lamp is not replaceable; when the
bulb has reached the end of its life, the entire lamp
needs to be replaced.
· Remove all packaging material before use.
4. Before first use:
· The socket may only be used by adults.
· Make sure that the operating voltages of the Night-
light and the mains supply correspond.
· When charging for the first time, remove the night
light from the base, set the switch to position
(fig.
1) and charge the night light in a suitable socket for
between 8 and 10 hours.
4.1 Function
The night light only lights up during hours of darkness.
· When the switch is in position , it will remain off
even during hours of darkness.
· The level of brightness is selected using (=) or (-).
· The night light will automatically switch on at dusk.
· When the surroundings become brighter, the Night-
light will switch off automatically.
4.2 Operating in the power point
· Select the desired level of brightness and plug the
mains plug into the socket.
· The battery will charge when it is plugged into the
mains.
· The night light may remain permanently plugged
into the socket.
4.3 Mobile operation
· Select the desired level of brightness, plug the night
light into the base with the mains plug pointed
downwards (Fig. 1) and position it at the required
location in the room.
· If the light is no longer bright enough, or if it does
not switch on during hours of darkness, the battery
needs to be recharged.
NOTE:
When taking the LED Nightlight on a journey it is recom-
mended that you switch the switch to position
. This
will prevent the light from inadvertently switching on
and discharging the battery.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance:
Make sure that you disconnect the device from the
mains supply before cleaning. Do not use abrasive
cleaners. Clean the device with a damp cloth.
IMPORTANT! Never allow the device to come into
contact with water or any other liquid!
6. Environmental protection:
Batteries and waste electronic equipment con-
sist of raw materials and should be disposed of
at a collection point for recycling batteries and
electronic equipment and not with household waste.
Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of batteries
and waste electronic equipment properly. Reuse, mate-
rial recycling, and other forms of recycling batteries and
old equipment make an important contribution to pro-
tecting our environment. Battery collection containers
are available free of charge in stores that sell batteries,
from mail-order warehouses and at municipal collection
points. For the disposal of waste equipment, please ask
your local authority for the appropriate disposal point.
The adjacent symbol indicates the obligation to proper
disposal.

3. Consignes générales de sécurité :
Avant le montage et l’usage, lisez attentivement
le mode d’emploi. Sinon, les fonctions de sécurité
de l’article peuvent être restreintes. Conservez le
mode d’emploi afin de pouvoir le relire ultérieu-
rement.
Danger :
· Évitez de mettre les piles ou les contacts de
connexion électrique de l‘appareil en contact avec
des
objets métalliques.
· Si les piles ont coulé, utilisez des gants et lunettes de
protection résistants aux produits chimiques.
Avertissement :
· Avant chaque utilisation, assurez-vous que l‘appareil
n‘ait pas de défaut apparent. Si vous constatez

4. Mise en service :
· Seuls des adultes peuvent utiliser la prise.
· Assurez-vous que la tension de fonctionnement de la
veilleuse corresponde à la tension du secteur.
· Lors de la charge initiale, retirer la veilleuse de la
base, mettre l’interrupteur en position (illustration
1) et charger la veilleuse avec une prise appropriée
entre 8 et 10 heures.
4.1 Fonction :
La veilleuse ne brille que dans l’obscurité.
· Lorsque l’interrupteur est sur
, elle reste éteinte
même dans l’obscurité.
· Sélectionnez la luminosité souhaitée avec (=) ou (-).
· Lors du réglage de la lumière, la veilleuse s’allume
automatiquement.
· Lorsque la luminosité est suffisante, la veilleuse
s‘éteint automatiquement.
4.2 Fonctionnement dans la prise :
· Choisissez le niveau de luminosité souhaité et bran-
chez la prise.
· Les accus se rechargent lorsque la veilleuse fonc-
tionne sur secteur.
· Vous pouvez laisser la veilleuse branchée en perma-
nence.
4.3 Fonctionnement mobile :
· Sélectionnez le niveau de luminosité souhaité,
branchez la veilleuse avec la prise orientée vers le
bas dans la base (illustration 1) et placez-la où vous
le souhaitez dans la pièce.
· Si la lumière n’est plus assez claire ou qu’elle ne
s’allume pas dans l’obscurité, la batterie doit être
rechargée.
REMARQUE :
Si vous emportez l‘appareil en voyage ou que vous
n‘utilisez pas la veilleuse, placez le commutateur en
position
afin d‘éviter qu‘elle ne s‘enclenche et que
ses accus se vident.
5. Nettoyage et entretien :
Débrancher impérativement l‘appareil du secteur avant
de le nettoyer! Ne pas utiliser d‘agents abrasifs: l‘appa-
reil se nettoie avec un simple chiffon humide!
IMPORTANT: ne plongez jamais l‘appareil dans l‘eau
ni dans un quelconque autre liquide!
6. Informations sur la protection de
l‘environnement :
Les piles/batteries sont fabriquées avec des ma-
tières premières et ne vont pas dans les ordures
ménagères. Elles doivent néanmoins être récol-
tées dans un centre de collecte destiné au recyclage des
piles/batteries et appareils électriques. Selon la loi, les

piles/batteries et anciens appareils électriques. Grâce à
la réutilisation, à l’exploitation des matières premières ou
à d’autres formes d’usage de piles/batteries et d’anciens
appareils électriques, vous contribuez grandement à la
protection de l’environnement. Les conteneurs de piles/
batteries sont disponibles gratuitement dans les maga-
sins de distribution de piles, les entrepôts de vente par
correspondance ainsi que les centres de collecte munici-
paux. Pour savoir où trier vos anciens appareils, rensei-
gnez-vous sur le centre de tri existant dans votre com-
mune auprès des autorités locales. Le symbole ci-contre
indique l’obligation de trier correctement ses déchets.
