DRIVE SYSTEM
SWITCH THE DRIVE SYSTEM ON/OFF
1. Insert the battery into the e-bike (see Battery chapter).
2. To wake the battery from sleep mode, press the button on the battery as needed.
3. Hold down the

button of the control unit for a duration of approx. 2 seconds.
4. With the KeyCard function activated, hold the e-bike key (not the master key card!) against the sen-
sor field

of the operating unit.
The drive system is switched off by holding down the button

onds. This effectively locks it against unauthorised access.
TEACH SPARE KEY
With the Key Card

you can teach a new spare key. Proceed as
follows:
1. Press the button

2. Hold the master key card

against the transponder field of
the control unit

. "Key1" appears on the display.
3. Hold the first key against the transponder field

. The key is
coded and "Key2" then appears on the display.
4. Now take the second key and also hold it against the tran-
sponder field.
Both keys are now coded and can be used immediately.
PROLOCK
For systems with the proLock function, the frame ring lock unlocks automatically when the drive system
is switched on. To secure it, press the lever down as you would with a conventional ring lock.
OPERATE THE DRIVE SYSTEM
The drive system assists you whilst pedalling with additional motor power up to a speed of 25 km/h. You
can freely choose between the assistance levels

• Note that at least one of the keys will no longer work if you teach the key card in-
stead of a key. However, you can repeat the teaching procedure at any time and
teach the second key properly.
• If you mistakenly use the master key card instead of the e-bike key when switch-
ing on you will not be able to use the key to switch on the drive system after-
wards. You must first " teach" the key again.
