Kuumeen mittaaminen vanhemmilta lapsilta

Isompien lasten sekä aikuisten ruumiinlämpö voidaan mitata

joustavakärkisellä digitaalisella kuumemittarilla myös suusta tai kainalosta

(epäluotettavin mittaustapa). Jos kuumemittaria on käytetty peräaukossa

ilman mittapään suojusta, sitä ei suositella enää käytettäväksi suussa.

Puhdistus

Puhdista kuumemittari aina käytön jälkeen. Älä steriloi kuumemittaria

äläkä puhdista sitä keittämällä. Kotikäytössä riittää, että kuumemittari

pyyhitään pehmeällä, kostealla liinalla tai pestään vedellä. Kuumemittari on

vedenkestävä. Älä pese sitä astianpesukoneessa.

Pariston vaihto

Kuumemittarissa on pitkäikäinen paristo, jonka tulisi kestää 2-3 vuotta.

Kun paristo alkaa olla tyhjä, näytössä näkyy merkki . Älä käytä

tällöin kuumemittaria, ennen kuin olet vaihtanut pariston. Paristo

vaihdetaan seuraavasti:

• Irrota paristolokeron kansi.

• Irrota vanha paristo sähköä johtamattomalla apuvälineellä, esimerkiksi

hammastikulla.

• Aseta uusi paristo (LR41) paikalleen positiivinen puoli (+) ylöspäin.

• Kiinnitä kansi takaisin paikalleen.

Varoitus

Nappipariston nieleminen on erittäin vaarallista.

Hävitä paristo ympäristöä säästävällä tavalla.

Älä hävitä paristoa polttamalla, sillä se voi räjähtää.

Älä yritä ladata paristoa.
