Bereidingstijd: ca. 2 uur - 4 pers. - MAGNETRON
Benodigdheden: 1 kom van 2 liter
100 g ronde rijst
1 liter volle melk
80 g poedersuiker (of 90 g bruine suiker)
1 vanillestokje en 1 klein stukje kaneelstok
Was de rijst tweemaal met helder water. Giet de rijst, melk en suiker in een grote kom.
Voeg de kaneel en het gebroken vanillestokje toe. Breng dit aan de kook, eerst 10 min.
onafgedekt op MAX (let er goed op dat de melk niet overkookt) en dan tweemaal 90 min.
met deksel op 100W. Programmeer deze twee bereidingstijden achter elkaar. Roer het
gerecht eenmaal om tijdens de bereiding. Laat het afkoelen met deksel. De zeer lange
bereidingstijd van dit Normandische recept garandeert een unieke zachtheid zonder risico
dat de rijst verbrandt of vastplakt op de bodem van de kom. Als u geen volle melk heeft,
vervang dan 20 cl halfvolle melk door 20 cl slagroom.
