Pop up meldingen van uw Ipad:
Bij gebruik van de connection kit kunnen verschillende meldingen verschijnen. Mogelijke meldingen
en eventuele te ondernemen acties worden hieronder uitgelegd:
- Meldingen over imcompatibiliteit of ongeschiktheid van het aangesloten apparaat (Device is
unsupported). Deze melding kunt u negeren. Apple hard- en software zijn doorgaans vrij
gesloten systemen. Omdat de Ipad het apparaat niet herkent als een origineel Apple-eigen
apparaat kan het dat deze melding soms wordt weergegeven. De melding heeft geen enkele
negatieve invloed op de werking van de camera connection kit.
- Melding over een te hoog stroomverbruik van het externe apparaat (Device uses too much
power) Dit soort meldingen komen alleen voor bij externe apparaten die veel stroom
gebruiken en niet standaard geschikt zijn voor gebruik. Meer informatie vindt u in de
volgende sectie, gebruik connection kit met overige USB apparaten.
- Kan geen foto’s weergeven (No photos to import). Controleer of er foto’s op het
opslagapparaat staan en of voldoen wordt aan de overige eisen zoals vermeld in deze
handleiding
Gebruik connection kit met overige USB apparaten
De connection kit is ontwikkeld voor het importeren van foto’s vanaf uw camera. U kunt mogelijk
ook andere USB apparaten ermee aansluiten, al wordt dit niet standaard ondersteunt.
Enkele voorbeelden hiervan zijn:
- Een USB flashdrive
- Een extern USB toetsenbord.
- Uw Iphone 4(S)
- Een USB headset
USB flashdrive
Indien u bestanden vanaf een USB flashdrive wilt importeren dient u ook een DCIM folder aan te
maken. Een USB flashdrive is alleen te gebruiken indien de Ipad deze kan voorzien van voldoende
stroom. Helaas heeft Apple bewust sinds OS 4.2 het stroomverbruik omlaag gebracht. De USB poort
geeft maximaal 20mA stroom, waar dit in het verleden 100mA was.
