De extender met een bestaand WiFi-netwerk
verbinden
Als u het bereik van uw WiFi-netwerk wilt uitbreiden, moet u de extender met
uw bestaande WiFi-netwerk verbinden. U kunt dit op twee manieren doen:
• Maak verbinding met WPS. Raadpleeg Verbinding maken met WPS
op pagina 6 voor meer informatie.
• Maak verbinding met installatie via de webbrowser. Raadpleeg
Verbinding maken met installatie via de webbrowser op pagina 9
voor meer informatie.
Verbinding maken met WPS
Met Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) kunt u verbinding maken met een
beveiligd WiFi-netwerk zonder de naam en het wachtwoord van het
netwerk te hoeven invoeren.
Opmerking: WPS ondersteunt geen WEP-netwerkbeveiliging. Als u
WEP-beveiliging gebruikt, volgt u de instructies in Verbinding maken met
installatie via de webbrowser op pagina 9.
1. Houd de knop WPS/Mode op de extender minder dan vijf seconden
ingedrukt totdat het lampje WPS/Mode knippert.
Opmerking: als u de knop WPS/Mode langer dan vijf seconden ingedrukt
houdt, schakelt de extender over naar de access point-modus. Wanneer
de extender overschakelt naar de access point-modus, knippert zowel
het lampje WPS/Mode als het netvoedingslampje. Vervolgens gaat het
lampje WPS/Mode uit en brandt het netvoedingslampje groen.
