Congratulaons with the purchase of your mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker. The

Baery/Accu Checker represents the latest technology in baery tesng and

analyzing and will provide you quickly with accurate results using wireless

technology.

1. General advice and installaon notes

• Read the manual and safety notes carefully before installing the mr Safe Baery/

Accu Checker.

• If you have any doubts, contact your qualied auto/truck electrician or mechanic.

• WARNING: If the car baery is disconnected, it is possible that some management

systems will be disabled!

• Extra tools may be needed for the installaon.

• Check your vehicle manual for more informaon about the installaon.

• WARNING: Do not install on moving, sharp, hot or unsuitable surfaces!

2. General informaon

• The power source must provide 12/24 Volts DC and must be able to supply the

necessary current to operate the load. The power source may be a baery or a

well-regulated 12/24V DC power supply.

• CAUTION: The mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker must be connected only to baeries

with a nominal output voltage of 12/24V. The unit is designed to operate with

specic voltage baery. Please check and ensure the matching of the power input

before using the mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker.

• Please check whether the baery voltage meets the requirements specied on the

Baery/Accu Checker rang plate. Verify that the power source is at least fuse-

protected at 15A (12V) or 7.5A (24V).

• If these condions are met, please use the 12/24V cable provided to make the

connecon at the baery of the car/truck etc.

3. App

• Download the free mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker App from the Apple store (iOS

devices) or the Google Play Store (Android devices).

• When you are using the app for the rst me, you need to register with your mobile

phone number. You will receive a vericaon code, type this in and choose your

password.

• NOTE: The Wi-Fi funcon cannot be used with this device.

• Open the app and click “+ Add”. Scan the QR-code on the back of your mr Safe

Baery/Accu checker.

• The device is now added and can be read.

4. Connecng

NOTE: make sure that

the vehicle engine and

any electrical loads

are “OFF”!

• Verify the ignion key is turned OFF and that no ammable fumes are present.

• Connect the red clamp to the posive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the

negave (-) terminal pole.

• The Baery/Accu Checker switches ON when both connecons are made.

• Ensure a good connecon by connecng the eyelets (m6 size 6mm /1/4” diameter)

around the terminals. The Baery/Accu Checker requires that both sides of each

clamp are properly connected before tesng can take place. When there is a poor

connecon, the status screen will display “no info”. If this happens, clean the

baery terminals and clamps and reconnect.

CAUTION: Reverse polarity will result in a blown fuse and may cause permanent

damage. Damage due to reverse polarity is not covered by our guarantee. Do not

use with posive ground electrical system (modern automobiles, RVs and trucks are

negave ground. Verify by checking your car manual).

5. Installaon

• Select the ideal mounng posion for the Baery/Accu Checker. Make sure that the

cables cannot get obstructed, or touching heat or are in the vicinity of sharp edges.

• Aach the Baery/Accu Checker with the cable es that are supplied.

• Make sure that the Baery/Accu Checker is mounted rmly and does not move or

vibrate.

• Check all the wires and make sure they cannot get loose or make connecon with

any heated parts.

6. Safety notes

• Do not operate the Baery/Accu Checker if the cord or plugs are damaged.

• Do not operate the Baery/Accu Checker if it has received a sharp blow, has been

dropped or damaged in any way.

• Do not disassemble the device. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electrical

shock or re.

• NEVER smoke or allow a spark or ame in the vicinity of the device or the engine

of your car.

• Be extra cauous to reduce the risk of dropping a metal tool onto the baery. It

might spark, cause short-circuit on the baery or cause damage to an electrical part

that may cause an explosion.

• Remove personal metal items, such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, … when

working near the baery. It can easily cause a short-circuit or heat the metal items

and cause burns.

• Determine the voltage of your baery by verifying the car manual and make sure

the output matches the output rang of the Baery/Accu Checker.

• For negave-grounded vehicles: connect the POSITIVE (red) clip from the Baery/

Accu Checker to POSITIVE (POS, P, +) ungrounded post of the car baery. Connect

the NEGATIVE (black) clip to the vehicle chassis or engine block. Connect the device

to a heavy gage metal part of the frame or engine block.

• Ensure that the cabling does not jam or comes in contact with hot surfaces or sharp

edges.

BATTERY/ACCU CHECKER BAC-100

Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker. De Baery/

Accu Checker staat voor de laatste technologie in testen en analyseren van de

baerij en zal u snel voorzien met accurate resultaten via draadloze technologie.

1. Algemeen advies en noes bij de aeeldingen

• Lees de handleiding en veiligheidsvoorschrien zorgvuldig door vooraleer de mr Safe

Baery/Accu Checker te installeren. Bij twijfel kan u best een gecerceerde auto/truck

elektricien of monteur contacteren.

• WAARSCHUWING: wanneer de baerij ontkoppeld wordt, is het mogelijk dat sommige

beheerssystemen niet werken.

• Extra gereedschap kan nodig zijn voor deze installae.

• Kijk aljd de handleiding van uw voertuig na voor meer informae over de installae.

• WAARSCHUWING: Installeer het toestel niet op beweegbare, scherpe, warme of

ongeschikte oppervlakten.

2. Algemene informae

• De voedingsbron moet 12/24V DC zijn en moet de benodigde stroom kunnen leveren om

de lading te bedienen. De voedingsbron kan een baerij of een goed geregulariseerde

12/24V DC voeding zijn.

• OPGELET: De mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker kan enkel verbonden worden aan baerijen

met een nominale uitgangsstroom van 12/24V. Het toestel is ontwikkeld om te werken

met een speciek voltage. Gelieve zeker te stellen dat de stroomtoevoer overeenkomt

alvorens de mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker te gebruiken.

• Controleer of de spanning van de baerij overeenkomt met de vereisten gespecieerd op

het Baery/Accu Checker label. Zorg dat de voedingsbron een zekeringsbeveiliging van

15A (12V) of 7.5A (24V) hee.

• Als er aan deze voorwaarden voldaan wordt, kan u de meegeleverde 12/24V kabel

aansluiten aan de baerij van de wagen/truck etc.

3. App

• Download de gras mr Safe Baery/Accu Checker App van de Apple store (iOS toestellen)

of de Google Play Store (Android toestellen).

• Indien u de app voor de eerste keer gebruikt moet u registreren met uw telefoonnummer.

U zal een vericaecode ontvangen, typ deze in en kies uw wachtwoord.

• OPMERKING: De Wi-Fi funce wordt niet ondersteunt met dit type toestel.

• Open de app en klik op “+ Add”. Scan de QR-code op het label achteraan de mr Safe

Baery/Accu Checker.

• Het toestel wordt nu toegevoegd en kan uitgelezen worden.

Indien u meer informae wenst over het gebruik van de app, kan u de volledige handleiding

downloaden op www.mrsafe.eu.

4. Verbinden

OPMERKING: Zorg dat de

motor uitstaat en dat er

geen elektrische ladingen

zijn.

• Controleer dat het contact van het voertuig uitstaat en dat er geen ontvlambare gassen

aanwezig zijn.

• Verbind de rode klem met de posieve (+) pool en de zwarte klem met de negaeve (-)

pool. De Baery/Accu Checker zal aanspringen wanneer beide verbindingen gemaakt zijn.

• Zorg voor een goede verbinding door de oogjes (m6 grooe 6mm/1/4” diameter)

rond de polen. De Baery/Accu Checker vereist dat beide kanten van de klemmen

goed aangesloten zijn alvorens er een test kan uitgevoerd worden. In geval van slechte

verbinding, zal het scherm “no info” weergeven. Indien dit gebeurt, maak dan de

baerijpolen en klemmen schoon en verbind opnieuw.

OPGELET: Omgekeerde polariteit zal resulteren in een doorgebrande zekering en kan

blijvende schade veroorzaken. Schade door omgekeerde polariteit valt niet onder de garane.

Gebruik niet met een posief geaard elektrisch systeem (moderne auto’s, vrachtwagens,…

zijn negaef geaard. Om dit te controleren: controleer de handleiding van uw voertuig).

5. Installae

• Selecteer de ideale bevesgingsposie voor de Baery/Accu Checker. Zorg dat er niets de

kabels kan belemmeren, dat ze geen hie aanraken of in de buurt van scherpe kanten liggen.

• Maak de Baery/Accu Checker vast met de meegeleverde kabelbinders.

• Zorg dat de Baery/Accu Checker stevig vasthangt en dat hij niet beweegt of kan vibreren.

• Controleer alle draden en zorg dat ze niet los kunnen komen of verhie onderdelen

kunnen aanraken.

6. Veiligheidsvoorschrien

• Gebruik de Baery/Accu Checker niet indien de kabels of oogjes beschadigd zijn.

• Gebruik de Baery/Accu Checker niet indien hij een klap gekregen hee, gevallen is of

beschadigd is.

• Ontmantel het toestel niet. Onjuiste ontmanteling gee risico tot elektrische schok of brand.

• Zorg dat er NOOIT een open vlam of ontsteking in de buurt van het toestel of de motor

komt.

• Wees extra voorzichg om het risico te verkleinen dat metalen gereedschap op de baerij

valt. Dit kan voor een ontsteking zorgen, kortsluing van de baerij of schade aan een

elektrisch onderdeel. Dit kan leiden tot een explosie.

• Verwijder persoonlijke voorwerpen zoals ringen, armbanden, halskengen, horloges,…

wanneer u in de nabijheid van de baerij werkt. Dit kan makkelijk kortsluing veroorzaken

of het metaal zo verhien dat het brandwonden veroorzaakt.

• Bepaal de spanning van uw baerij door de handleiding van uw voertuig te lezen en zorg

dat de uitvoerstroom de vereisten van de Baery/Accu Checker tegemoetkomt.

• Voor negaef-geaarde voertuigen: verbind de POSITIEF (rode) klem van de Baery/

Accu Checker met de POSITIVE (POS, P, +) ongegronde post van de autobaerij. Sluit

de NEGATIVE (zwarte) clip aan op het chassis of motorblok van het voertuig. Sluit het

apparaat aan op een zwaar metalen onderdeel van het frame of motorblok.

• Zorg ervoor dat de bekabeling niet vastloopt of in contact komt met hete oppervlakken

of scherpe randen.
