Weense appelstrudel
Totale bereidingstijd: 70 minuten
voor 2 strudels
Ingrediënten
1 pakje strudelblaadjes (vier blaadjes
voor twee strudels)
1500 g appels
100 g paneermeel
50 g boter (voor het paneermeel)
150 g suiker
50 g rozijnen
wat kaneel (volgens smaak)
50 g gesmolten boter (om de strudel‐
blaadjes mee te bestrijken)
50 g gesmolten boter (om de strudel
mee te bestrijken)

Bereiding
Leg tweemaal twee strudelblaadjes op
een keukendoek. Laat ze elkaar een
beetje overlappen.
Schil de appels, verwijder de klokhui‐
zen en snijd ze in dunne schijfjes.
Doe paneermeel in de pan. Laat het pa‐
neermeel met wat boter licht roosteren.
Bestrijk de uitgelegde strudelblaadjes
met vloeibare boter. Spreid het in boter
geroosterde paneermeel er over uit.
Meng de appels door de suiker en de
andere ingrediënten. Verdeel dit meng‐
sel over het deeg.
Rol de strudels nu op en bestrijk de
strudelrollen met vloeibare boter. Leg ze
op een bakplaat en bak ze goudbruin.
