Safety functions:
If the unit displays the error code E-0 and several signal tones are sounding: no cooking
ware has been put on the cooking plate, or the cooking ware has been removed or is not
suitable for using with this induction cooking plate (means less than 10 cm diametre); in this
cases there will be auto shut off (standby mode) after approx. 1 minute.
If the unit displays the error code E-1 and several signal tones are sounding: the induction
cooking plate has been overheated (e. g. by cooking too long time with too high temperature)
and the heating function has been switched off automatically. Please note, that in this case
the unit will activate automatically as soon as it has been cooled down.
For safety reason unplug and let the unit cool down. Then you can use the unit again by
plugging in and switching on the ON/OFF switch.
If the unit displays the error code E-2 and several signal tones are sounding, the unit has
been overheated by too hot cookware, short circuit or fail function of the temperature sensor.
The unit has switched off heating. The boil dry protection has been activated. The unit has
been overheated over approx. 250°C. All functions have been cancelled. Please unplug ifor
safety reason in all cases then. If short circuit or open sensor do not use the unit anymore
but give to a qualified electrician for check. When overheated, you can use the unit again
after minimum 20 min. of cooling downby plugging in and switching on the ON/OFF switch.
If the unit displays the error code E-3: the automatic voltage protection has been activated.
This can happen if there is voltage fluctuation over 270 V (e.g. when lightning during
thunderstorm). Please note that as soon as the current is normal again E-3 goes back to
normal function. In this case for safety reason please unplug. Please do not use again before
the current will be normal again.
