Operation and Installation
Caution! It may only be used in garden ponds and in their protection area, if the electrical installations have
been set up to comply with the code‘s requirements. Please contact an electrician.
The connection box should be at least 2 m away from the edge of the garden pond (Fig. 1).
The transformer is splashwater-proof. Short-time exposure to rain or splash water does not pose any danger.
The transformer must not be immersed in water (Fig. 1)! Protect the transformer from fl ooding!
The transformer heats up during use. To ensure adequate cooling, the transformer should not be
installed in a poorly ventilated housing.
Mains voltage according to the type plate of the transformer.
Do not carry, hang or pull by the connection cord.
The three-way distributor on the transformer is rated to a maximum of 50 W per plug connection!
Temperature fuse 20 VA
Following the safety precautions to avoid damages, the built-in temperature fuse switches off the transformer
when overheated. Check the operating conditions and replace the transformer.
Temperature fuse 50 VA, 70 VA, 105 VA and 150 VA
Following the safety precautions to avoid damages, the built-in temperature fuse switches off the transformer
when overheated. The transformer should cool down. The transformer will start again automatically, when
cool. In that case check the operating conditions.
Guarantee conditions
This device is warranted for 24 months, from the date of delivery. Proof of purchase is required. Defects in
material or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at our discretion and free of charge during the warranty
period.
Damages resulting from faulty installation or operation, calcium deposits, inadequate care, frost, normal
wear, or unauthorized repair attempts are not covered under the warranty.
Modifi cations to the device, such as separating the mains connection lines or the mains connector, invalidate
the warranty. We assume no liability for consequential damages resulting from a failure of the device or
improper operation.
In the event of a claim under this warranty, please return the device with the proof of purchase to us
postage-paid through the authorized dealer from whom you purchased the device.
Waste disposal

It is not allowed to dispose the product along with the regular waste disposal, instead it has to be collected
separately. It is your responsibility to dispose and recycle the device in a proper place and protect the
environment through this. More information, where to dispose your devices can be obtained at the local

Fonctionnement et installation

La prise de courant doit être à au moins 2 m du bord de l‘étang de jardin (Fig.1).
Le transformateur est protégé contre les éclaboussures. Une petite averse ou quelques éclaboussures ne
présentent aucun danger. Le transformateur ne doit pas être plongé dans l’eau (Fig.1)!
Protégez le transformateur contre toute immersion!
Le transformateur s‘échauffe pendant qu‘il est en marche. Pour que le refroidissement s‘effectue
correctement, veillez à ce que le transformateur bénéfi cie d‘une bonne aération.
La tension du réseau doit être conforme aux données indiquées sur la plaque caractéristique du
transformateur.
Ne pas porter, suspendre ou tirer par le câble de raccordement.
Chacun des 3 branchements de la prise multiple du transformateur ne peut supporter qu’une charge
maximale de 50 Watt.
Protecteur thermique 20 VA
Conforme aux prescriptions de sécurité pour éviter des détériorations, le protecteur thermique incorporé met
le transformateur hors circuit, s‘il s‘échauffe trop. Veuillez vérifi er les conditions de service et remplacer le
transformateur.
Protecteur thermique 50 VA, 70 VA, 105 VA et 150 VA
Conforme aux prescriptions de sécurité pour éviter des détériorations, le protecteur thermique incorporé
met le transformateur hors circuit, s‘il s‘échauffe trop. Le transformateur doit se refroidir. Une fois refroidi, le
transformateur redémarre automatiquement. Dans ce cas-là, veuillez vérifi er les conditions de service.
Conditions de garantie
Vous bénéfi ciez sur cet appareil d’une garantie de 24 mois qui commence le jour de la livraison. Le bon
d’achat a valeur de justifi catif. Dans la limite de notre période de garantie, nous réparons gratuitement les
dommages dus à des défauts de matériel ou de fabrication ou remplaçons les pièces, à notre convenance.
Les dommages dus à des erreurs de montage ou d’utilisation, aux dépôts calcaires, à un défaut d’entretien,
à l’action du gel, à une usure normale ou à des tentatives de réparation inadéquates ne sont pas couverts
par cette garantie.
Toute modifi cation apportée à l’appareil, telle que la découpe des câbles de raccordement ou de la fi che de
secteur, entraîne l’annulation de la garantie. Nous rejetons toute responsabilité pour tous dommages
consécutifs à la panne de l’appareil ou à une utilisation non appropriée.
En cas de recours à la garantie, veuillez nous renvoyer l’appareil (sans frais) avec le justifi catif d’achat via
votre revendeur spécialisé auprès duquel vous avez acheté l’appareil.
Elimination des déchets
Elimination des appareils électriques usagés au sein des ménages privés de l’Union Européenne
Ce produit ne peut être ajouté aux déchets ordinaires et doit être éliminé séparément. Il est de votre respon-
sabilité de porter l’appareil à la décharge correspondante afi n qu’il soit éliminé et/ou recyclé dans le respect
