Algemeen
Voorzichtig:
• Wijzig de constructie van de rolstoel nooit.
• Gebruik uitsluitend door Life & Mobility
goedgekeurde onderdelen en accessoires.
Deze zijn getest en veilig.
Let op:
• Op deze rolstoel zijn aanduidingen,
veiligheidssymbolen en instructies aan-
gebracht. Deze mogen niet worden afgedekt
of verwijderd. Ze moeten gedurende de
levensduur van de rolstoel op de rolstoel
blijven en duidelijk leesbaar zijn.
Monteren en afstellen (Zie ook pag. 16)
Waarschuwing:
• Controleer voordat u de rolstoel gebruikt
of alle onderdelen van de rolstoel goed
gemonteerd zijn en goed vastzitten.
Let op:
• Zorg ervoor dat de duwhandvatten, de
armleggers, de onderbeenlengte en even-
tueel de hoofdsteun op de juiste hoogte zijn
ingesteld.
• De voetplaten dienen zich op minimaal
5 cm van de vloer te bevinden.
• In bepaalde configuraties kan de rolstoel
langer en/of breder zijn dan aanbevolen
volgens de norm. Dit zou de toegang tot
nooduitgangen kunnen bemoeilijken. Gebruik
de verstelmogelijkheden (duwstang lager,
zithoek rechtop, beensteunen en armleggers
in een andere hoek of uitnemen) om de
rolstoel compacter te maken.
Zitten in de rolstoel
Waarschuwing:
• Let op dat de vingers en ledematen van de
inzittende niet bekneld raken tussen het
frame en de wielen of tussen de spa ken van
de wielen. Wees vooral waakzaam wanneer:
• De rolstoel ver naar achteren is gekan teld.
• De rolstoel op de laagste zithoogte is
ingesteld.
• De inzittende scheef in de stoel hangt.
• De inzittende zijn/haar armen over de arm -
legger slap omlaag heeft hangen.
• Er een combinatie is van bovenstaande
gevallen.
• Voorkom dat de voeten van de gebruiker
tussen beide voetenplaten terecht komen.
Hiervoor is optioneel een hakband of een
centrale beensteun verkrijgbaar.

Waarschuwing:
• De zithoudingsgordel is ongeschikt als
veiligheidsgordel.
Let op:
• Wees voorzichtig met uw handen tijdens het
hoepelen, wanneer links en rechts van de
rolstoel weinig ruimte is.
• Zet de rolstoel op de rem voordat u een
transfer maakt.
• Gebruik de rem alleen om de stilstaande
wielen te blokkeren. De rem is ongeschikt om
de rolstoel af te remmen.
• De maximaal benodigde duwkracht kan
per configuratie verschillen. Deze is o.a.
afhankelijk van het gewicht van de inzittende,
de hoogte van de duwhandvatten en de
instelling van het balanspunt.
