LET OP: HET BEVEILIGEN VAN HET NETWERK IS ALLEEN VAN TOEPASSING WANNEER ANDEREN

BEVEILIGEN MET DE SECURITY- EN RESET KNOP
Om een beveiligd netwerk te maken met twee of meer Homeplug adapters, kun je de “Security”
knop gebruiken. De beveiligingscode is verzegeld in het apparaat en dus niet uit te lezen.
SCENARIO 1: EEN BEVEILIGD NETWERK TUSSEN ADAPTER “A” EN “B” OPZETTEN.
1. Druk 10 seconden op de “Security” knop van adapter A, totdat de lampjes uitgaan
2. Druk 10 seconden op de “Security” knop van adapter B, totdat de lampjes uitgaan
3. Druk 1 seconde op de “Security” knop van adapter A
4. Druk 1 seconde op de “Security” knop van adapter B
5. Op beide adapters gaan alle lampjes uit en weer aan. Na maximaal 1 minuut is de
verbinding opgezet en beveiligd.
SCENARIO 2: EEN EXTRA ADAPTER “C” TOEVOEGEN AAN HET NETWERK VAN “A” EN “B”.
1. Druk 10 seconden op de “Security” knop van adapter C, totdat de lampjes uitgaan
2. Druk 1 seconde op de “Security” knop van adapter A
3. Druk 1 seconde op de “Security” knop van adapter B
4. Op adapter C gaan alle lampjes uit en weer aan. Na maximaal 1 minuut is de
verbinding opgezet en beveiligd.
Met de “reset” knop kun je een adapter terug zetten naar fabrieksinstellingen. Dan is de adapter
onbeveiligd en kan deze alleen met onbeveiligde adapters communiceren. Om te resetten, houd
de knop 2 seconden ingedrukt. Alle lampjes gaan even uit.

Knipperen De netwerkpoort verzend/ontvangt data.
