Movement
Each monster can move a certain number of spaces each turn, as
designated by the movement stat on their stat card. You can move the monster
up to that many spaces.
A monster can only move through water if their movement stat includes
the words ‘lake’, ‘ocean’, or 'fly'
Because monsters aren’t very smart and are easily distracted, you can
only move once per turn, and only on your move step.
(Example: Konk has a movement of 4. He can move 1, 2, 3, or 4
spaces)
Stomping
If your monster ends a turn on a city, it must stomp the city. The
player receives a number of point tokens equal to the value of the city. Place a
Stomp token on the tile. The city is now destroyed and no other player can
receive points from the city. You can use points to activate special power, or
use them for extra attacks in a fight.
(Example: Toxicor ends his turns in The Middle Of Nowhere, a 1
point city. Toxicor receives 1 point, and then places a Stomp token on the tile.)
You cannot Stomp tiles you pass through but do not end your turn on.
Cities are big places and monsters are very busy. It takes time to properly
Stomp something.
Fighting
If you end your turn in the same space as another monster, you start a
fight. Whoever started the fight goes first, unless a mutation or power says
otherwise. Roll the number of dice indicated by your ‘Attacks’ stat on the
monster stat card, modified by any Mutation cards you have received. Every
time you roll a number equal to or greater than the defending monster
‘Defense’ stat, you hit them. They take damage equal to your monsters
‘Damage’ stat.
If the defending monster survives, they repeat the above process.
Every time this occurs is referred to as a ‘round’.
