Get crane and dice ready.
The ruler and pegs are needed for the game variants described further
down and are kept in the box.
How to play:
Play in a clockwise direction.Whoever has most recently seen a crane, may
start. If you can not agree, the youngest player starts by rolling the dice.
Then they take the crane and drive it up to the construction site.
A building block of the color shown on the dice has to be fished out.
•The player decides up to which spot next to the construction site fence
they want to drive the crane.
•The player may get up and walk around the construction site.
Is a building block clinging to the hook? Lift it by winding.
Is the color of the building block the same as shown on the dice?
Well done, little crane operator! You take the block and put it in front of
you.
Is the color of the building block different than the one on the
dice?
Unfortunately you can not keep the block, but have to place it back
inside the construction site.
Are various blocks hanging from the crane?
You really have worked flat out!
Are there one or more blocks of the same color as on the dice?
If so you may keep all of them and put them in front of you.
If no block is of the right color, you have to place all of them back in
the construction site.
Finally, check the construction site and make sure that all the metal buttons
face upwards. If they don’t, turn them so that all metal buttons of all the
blocks face up.
Then it’s the turn of the next player.
End of the game:
If the dice shows a color of which there are no more building blocks left on
the construction site, the game ends.
The player who can lay out the longest row with their blocks, wins the
game and is named Head Crane Operator.
