POWER SOURCES: This productshouldbeoperatedonly from thetypeofpower source indicatedonthemarking label. Ifyouarenotsure of

LOCATION: Theappliance should beinstalledina stable location.
NON-USE PERIODS: The power cordoftheappliance should beunpluggedfromthe outlet whenleftunusedfora long periodoftime.
GROUNDING OR POLARIZATION:
Ifthis product is equipped witha polarizedalternating currentline plug(a plug havingone blade wider than the other),it willfit intothe out-
letonly one way. This is asafetyfeature.Ifyouareunable to insertthe plugfullyintotheoutlet,try reversing the plug.Iftheplugshouldstill
fail to fit, contactyourelectricianto replace yourobsoleteoutlet.Do not defeatthesafetypurposeof the polarizedplug.
Ifthis product isequipped withathree-wire groundingtype plug,a plug havinga third(grounding) pin, itwill onlyfit into agrounding type
poweroutlet.Thisisasafetyfeature.Ifyouareunabletoinserttheplugintotheoutlet,contactyourelectriciantoreplaceyourobsoleteout-

POWER-CORD PROTECTION: Power-supplycordsshould be routed so that theyare not likely to bewalked on or pinchedby items placed uponor against them, payingpar-
ticular attention tocordsatplugs,convenience receptacles, andthepointwhere they exitfromtheproduct.
OUTDOOR ANTENNA GROUNDING: If an outside antenna or cable system is connected tothe product,be surethe antennaor cablesystem isgrounded soas toprovide
some protectionagainst voltagesurges andbuilt-up staticcharges.Article 810of theNational ElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70, provides information with regard to proper
groundingofthemastandsupportingstructure,groundingofthelead-inwiretoanantennadischargeunit,sizeofgroundingconductors,locationofantenna-dischargeunit,
connection to grounding electrodes,andrequirementsfor the grounding electrode. See FigureB.
LIGHTNING: Foraddedprotectionforthisproductduringalighteningstorm,orwhenitis left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outletand
disconnect the antennaorcablesystem.Thiswill prevent damagetotheproduct due tolightening andpower-linesurges.
POWER LINES:Anoutsideantennasystemshouldnotbelocatedinthe vicinity ofoverheadpowerlinesorotherelectriclightorpowercircuits,
orwhere it canfallintosuchpowerlines or circuits.Wheninstallinganoutsideantenna system, extremecareshouldbetakento keep from
touching such power linesorcircuitsas contact withthemmightbe fatal.
OVERLOADING: Donot overload wall outlets,extension cords,or integralconvenience receptaclesas thiscan resultin arisk of fireor electric
shock.
OBJECTANDLIQUIDENTRY: Neverpushobjectsofany kind into this product throughopenings as they may touchdangerous voltage points
or short-out parts thatcouldresultin a fireorelectricshock. Neverspillliquid of anykindonthe product.
SERVICING:Donotattempttoservicethisproductyourselfas openingorremovingcoversmayexposeyou todangerousvoltageorotherhaz-
ards. Refer all servicingtoqualifiedservice personnel.
DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE: Unplug this productfromthewall outlet and referservicingtoqualified service personnelunderthefollowing conditions:
When the power-supplycordorplug is damaged.
If liquidhasbeenspilled,or objects havefallenintothe product.
If theproducthasbeenexposed to rainorwater.
If theproduct doesnotoperate normallybyfollowing theoperating instructions. Adjustonly thosecontrolsthat arecoveredby theoperating instructions asan improper
adjustment of other controlsmayresultin damage andwilloftenrequire extensive workbyaqualifiedtechnician to restoretheproductto its normaloperation.
If theproducthasbeendropped or damagedinanyway.
When the productexhibitsadistinct change inperformance,thisindicates a needforservice.
REPLACEMENT PARTS: Whenreplacement partsare required, besure theservicetechnician hasused replacement partsspecified bythe manufacturer orhave thesame
