AUDIBLE TONES SWITCH ON.
1. Turn the ignition key in ON position ( without start the vehicle engine !! ).
2. Press the push-button no.1 of the remote control for more than 3 seconds. To confirm the audible tones switch
ON a LED flash / audible tone will be emitted.
3. Turn the ignition key in OFF position.
ALARM PASSIVE ARMING.
To select the ALARM PASSIVE ARMING - ( Last door arming ) the dip-switch no.4 must be set in ON position,
( IMPORTANT : for the Belgium market units it's no possible to switch OFF the ALARM PASSIVE ARMING ).
This feature allows the automatic alarm arming, without the activation of the central door locking, after 50 seconds from
the last door/boot closure when the starting key is in OFF position. During the 50 seconds delay time the LED will blink
with a slow frequency in order to signal the pre-arming condition, in this time period it's possible to arm manually the alarm
unit by the remote controls.
During the pre-arming time period it's possible to halt the passive arming countdown by opening a door/boot or turning the
starting key in ON position.
At the end of the 50 seconds the alarm will be armed and this condition will be signalled by a direction lights flash / audible
tone.
CASUAL RE-ARMING.
The CASUAL RE-ARMING is activated only if the ALARM PASSIVE ARMING is set on ( dip-switch no. 4 in ON position ).
After the alarm system disarming by remote control, if one of the doors / boot is not opened within 60 seconds the alarm
will be automatically re-armed with the activation of the central door locking.
IMPORTANT : If the ALARM PASSIVE ARMING feature is switched ON it's mandatory to connect the GREEN-
BROWN wire to the door/boot switches.
GARAGE POSITION.
This feature is selectable by the remote control only if the ALARM PASSIVE ARMING is set ON (dip-switch no. 4
in ON position). This feature does not function when the alarm is used with the 5079 immobiliser
connected. It does not prevent the 5079 immobiliser from arming automatically.
The GARAGE position allows to the user to temporarily exclude the PASSIVE ARMING and the CASUAL RE-
ARMING in order to leave the vehicle for maintenance service, or to a car washing facility, without leaving also the
remote handsets / electronic keys.
GARAGE POSITION SET-ON.
1. Disarm the unit ( if armed ).
2. Turn the ignition key in ON position ( without start the vehicle engine !! ).
3. Press the push button no.2 of the remote control, the LED will flash twice in order to signal the GARAGE
POSITION activation.
4. Turn the ignition key in OFF position.
The user or the maintenance service personnel can now start the vehicle engine for 20 times without the passive
arming or the casual re-arming of the alarm system. In this condition every time the user attempt to start the
vehicle engine an audible tone / direction lights flash is emitted and the LED will flash for all the time the starting
key is in ON position.
GARAGE POSITION SET-OFF.
It's possible to set off the GARAGE POSITION by manually arming the alarm system ( by remote control or
electronic key ).
ARMING VEHICLE CHECK.
If one of the doors / boot or bonnet are not properly closed during the remote controlled arming, two low frequency
audible tones will be emitted after the arming signals.
REMOTE CONTROLS / ELECTRONIC KEYS SELF-LEARNING.
1. Disarm the alarm system by a working remote control / electronic key.
2. Set the dip-switch no. 6 in ON position.
3. Turn the ignition key in ON position for 1 second, the LED will be lighted in fix mode.
4. Turn the ignition key in OFF position, the LED will be extinguished.
5. Press one push button of the new remote control or insert into the LED socket the new electronic key, the LED
will be lighted for 1 second in order to signal the learning of the new device.
6. Repeat the operations described on the points 3, 4 and 5 if there are others devices to learn.
7. At the end of the learning procedure set the dip-switch no. 6 in OFF position.
NOTE: The operation described on the point 5 must be done within 30 seconds after the turning in OFF position of the
starting key, otherwise the point 3 and 4 operations must be repeated. It's possible to learn a maximum of 8 devices ( e.g.
: 4 remote controls and 4 electronic keys ), the tentative to learn a ninth device will automatically erase the first device
previously stored ( FIFO procedure - First In / First Out ).
LED ALARM MEMORY.
After the disarming of the alarm system it's possible, for the user, to verify if an alarm condition has occurred and to
identify the alarm triggering causes by the number of the flashes emitted from the LED.
