SYMBOLEN

Op of in de nabijheid van enkele

onderdelen van uw Seicento zijn spe-

cifiek gekleurde plaatjes aangebracht

met daarop symbolen die uw aandacht

vragen en die voorzorgsmaatregelen

aangeven die u in acht moet nemen als

u met het betreffende onderdeel te

maken krijgt.

FIAT CODE

Voor een nog betere bescherming

tegen diefstal is de auto uitgerust met

een elektronische startblokkering (Fiat

CODE). Het systeem schakelt auto-

matisch in als de start-/contactsleutel

wordt uitgenomen. In de handgreep van

de sleutels zit een elektronisch com-

ponent gemonteerd dat bij het starten

van de motor een signaal ontvangt

via een speciale antenne die in het

start-/contactslot is ingebouwd.

Dit signaal wordt omgezet in een

steeds wisselende code en vervolgens

aan de regeleenheid van de Fiat CO-

DE gezonden, die, als de code wordt

herkend, het starten van de motor

mogelijk maakt.

Bij de auto worden geleverd:

– twee sleutels A als de auto is

uitgerust zonder diefstalalarm;

– twee sleutels A en twee afstands-

bedieningen B als de auto is uitgerust

met centrale portiervergrendeling met

afstandsbediening en diefstalalarm.
