4. BRUG
Start
Sikkerhedsknappen forhindrer at maskinen ikke tændes
ved et uheld. For at tænde for maskinen skal du først
trykke på sikkerhedsknappen med din tommelfinger og
derefter trykke på hovedkontakten for at starte
maskinen.
Stop
Frigør hovedkontakten for at stoppe maskinen.
opladet.
Brug kun batteriopladeren ved temperaturer
mellem +10 og +40 °C.
Brug kun batteriopladeren i tørre omgivelser.
Sørg for, at polerne sidder rigtigt som angivet med +
og -.
Sæt stikket til batteriladeren i en stikkontakt. Den
røde indikator begynder at lyse.
Det røde lys slukkes ikke automatisk, når
opladningstiden er forbi! Tag batteriet ud af
opladeren inden 5 timer.
genoplad herefter batteriet i mere end 3-5 timer.
Opbevar i et frostfrit rum.
Genoplad batteriet hver 1 eller 2 måned i
vinterperioden, da langsomt vil aflades.
5. SERVICE & VEDLIGEHOLDELSE
forudsætning for lang tids tilfredsstillende brug.
Rengøring
Ventilationsrillerne på maskinen skal holdes rene, så
man undgår overophedning af motoren. Kappen
For at undgå transportbeskadigelse leveres maskinen i
en solid emballage. Emballagen er så vidt muligt lavet af
genbrugsmateriale. Genbrug derfor emballagen.
NiCd celler kan recirkuleres. De indsamlede batterier
recirkuleres eller bortskaffes på en miljøvenlig måde.
Defekte og/eller kasserede elektriske eller
elektroniske maskiner skal afleveres på en
genbrugsplads.
Garanti
Læs det separat vedlagte garantikort for
garantibetingelserne.

Extending the trimmer thread
Fig. 7

Fitting new trimmer thread
When you need to replace or fit new trimmer thread,
remove the battery and proceed as follows:
Depress the release lugs on the sides of the hubcap.

CHARGING BATTERIES
The battery that comes with the machine is not fully
charged.
Only use the battery charger at temperatures
between +10 and +40 °Celsius.
Only use the battery charger in dry rooms.
Place the battery in the battery charger as the
diagram indicates. Make sure that the poles are

After the charging time the red light will not switch
off automatically! Remove the battery within 5
hours from the charger. If the battery is not
removed from the charger after the charging period
it may become overheated.
STORAGE
When storing the machine for longer than 6 weeks:
Fully discharge the battery (by running the product)
and then recharge the battery for 3-5 hours.
Store in a dry and frost-free place.
Recharge the battery every 1 or 2 months during the
winter, because the battery will discharge slowly.
5. SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live when
carrying out maintenance work on the motor.
These machines have been designed to operate over a
long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon
proper machine care and regular cleaning.
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to
prevent overheating of the engine. Regularly clean the
machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each
use. Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If
the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened
with soapy water. Never use solvents such as petrol,
alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may
damage the plastic parts.
Lubrication
The machine requires no additional lubrication.
Faults
Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part, please
contact the service address on the warranty card. In the
back of this manual you find an exploded view showing
the parts that can be ordered.
Environment
To prevent damage during transport, the appliance is
delivered in a solid packaging which consists largely of
reusable material. Therefore please make use of options
for recycling the packaging.
NiCd cells are recyclable. The collected battery packs
will be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally safe
way.
Faulty and/or discarded electrical or
electronic apparatus have to be collected at
the appropriate recycling locations.
