2.0 EW1051 unter Windows 2000 und XP
(Service Pack 1 & 2) installieren
Wenn Sie mit Windows 2000 oder Windows XP mit Service Pack 1 oder 2 arbeiten,
müssen Sie die auf der CD mitgelieferte Software installieren. Dazu führen Sie bitte
die folgenden Schritte aus:
1. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Ihr Computer eingeschaltet und Windows vollständig
geladen ist.
2. Legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das CD- oder DVD-Laufwerk Ihres Computers
ein.
3. Der Installationsassistent startet automatisch.
4. Wählen Sie Ihre Sprache, klicken Sie auf „Weiter“.
5. Schließen Sie die Softwareinstallation mit Hilfe der Anweisungen auf dem
Bildschirm ab.
6. Nach Abschluss der Installation können Sie das USB-Kabel des EW1051
einstecken.
7. Die neue Hardware wird automatisch vom Computer erkannt und installiert.
3.0 EW1051 unter Windows XP Service Pack
3, Vista und Windows 7 installieren
Unter Windows XP mit Service Pack 3, Vista und Windows 7 können Sie den EW1051
auf zwei unterschiedliche Weisen installieren: Automatisch und manuell. Natürlich
erläutern wir beide Varianten.
3.1 EW1051 automatisch installieren
1. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Ihr Computer eingeschaltet und Windows vollständig
geladen ist.
2. Nehmen Sie den EW1051 aus der Packung.
3. Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel des EW1051 mit einem freien USB-Port Ihres
Computers.
4. Windows erkennt die neue Hardware automatisch.
5. Lassen Sie die neue Hardware automatisch durch Windows installieren.
Windows bittet Sie, eine Verbindung zur Windows Update-Internetseite herstellen
zu dürfen. Lassen Sie diese Verbindung zu.
6. Der EW1051 wird von Windows als „USB-Kartenleser“ installiert – die
Bezeichnung kann je nach Betriebssystem etwas unterschiedlich ausfallen.
