User mode (P9 and P10)
An own program profile can be created in the user mode.
1. Press the up/ down button to find the desired resistance level.
2. Press the enter button to select the resistance level for each time segment.
3. Repeat step 1 and 2 until each time segment has been set.
4. Press start/ stop once to start exercise directly or press start/ stop button twice to
pause the program – pre-sets can now be set (see Pre-sets).
Pre-sets There are five values that can be pre-set as training targets:
A. Time or
B. Distance
C. Energy Consumption (calories)
D. Age – not in heart rate mode
E. Pulse (BPM) – set maximum pulse – only in heart rate mode
1. Press the enter button. One of the pre-sets will now blink in the display.
2. Select target value by pressing the up or down button. Not every value needs to be
pre-set as target. Skip a category by pressing the enter button directly after 1.
3. Enter the target value by pressing the enter button.
4. Start your training by pressing Start/ Stop or select next target value (step 2).
The pre-set data will run backwards after starting training. Once a pre-set has been reached
the computer will beep and end the training program.
Pulse Pulse is displayed in Beats Per Minute (BPM). If the maximum pre-set target heart rate is
exceeded a warning signal will sound. For optimal pulse recognition please make sure that
only one of the pulse receivers is connected to the computer:
Attach the ear clip to the ear lobe, OR
Hold both hand on pulse connections, OR
Use the ENERGETICS chest transmitter-set (optional)
Resistance At any time the resistance can be changed by pushing the up or down button.
Pause The training can be paused by pushing the start/ stop button. STOP will appear in the
display.
Mode Press mode button to change display from RPM to Speed and from Watt to Calorie
indication.
Fitness Note The fitness note is for personal orientation and compares the pulse rate before and after
training. You will notice that your fitness will improve when exercising regularly.
1. Press the recovery-button directly after a training session.
2. Hold the hand on pulse connections or leave the chest transmitter attached.
3. Time will count down from 60 to 0 seconds.
4. Your personal fitness note appears (F1 – F6) on the display.
Level 1 = Excellent Fitness Level 6 = Poor Fitness
Auto off The data will be shown for approximately 4 minutes after a training session. If you continue
to train within these four minutes the data will start counting again, if not the computer will
automatically turn off.
Reset To set all values back to zero; press the Start/ Stop button for 3 seconds.
Please consult your physician to find your optimal heart rate and Watt setting
