1.0 Introductie:
Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van dit hoogwaardige Eminent product! Dit product is door de technische
experts van Eminent uitgebreid getest. Mocht dit product ondanks alle zorg problemen vertonen dan
kunt u beroep doen op de vijf jaar Eminent garantie. Bewaar deze handleiding samen met het bewijs
van aankoop daarom zorgvuldig.
1.1 Functies en kenmerken:
Dit accesspoint is geschikt voor gebruik in combinatie met draadloze netwerkkaarten. Het ondersteunt
de maximale doorvoer van 54 Mbps. Het accesspoint kan tevens als bridge worden gebruikt om met
behulp van andere accesspoints, nog grotere afstanden te overbruggen.
1.2 Inhoud van de verpakking:
- Wireless accesspoint.
- Adapter.
- Cd-rom met fabriekshandleiding.
- Handleiding.
1.3 Voor u begint:
- Sluit het accesspoint eerst aan met een 'gekruiste' of 'crossed over' kabel aan op de netwerkkaart
van uw pc.
- Geef uw computer het vaste IP-adres van ‘192.168.1.1’ om het accesspoint in te kunnen stellen.
Zie hiervoor het hoofdstuk Netwerkinstellingen.
2.0 Installatieprocedure hardware:
1. Verwijder de netsnoeren van alle betrokken apparaten.
2. Sluit de lichtnetadapter aan op het accesspoint.
3. Steek de lichtnetadapter in het stopcontact.
4. Verbind de LAN poort van het accesspoint met de netwerkkaart in uw computer.
2.1 Netwerkinstellingen:
2.1.1 Netwerkinstellingen (Windows 95, 98 en ME):
1. Voor Windows 95 en Windows 98: Klik met de rechter muisknop op ‘Netwerkomgeving’ op uw
bureaublad.
2. Voor Windows ME: Klik met de rechter muisknop op ‘Mijn netwerklocaties’ op uw bureaublad.
3. Kies ‘Eigenschappen’.
4. Selecteer ‘TCP/IP’.
5. Klik op ‘Eigenschappen’.
6. Kies ‘Een IP-adres opgeven’.
7. Type achter IP-adres ‘192.168.1.1’.
8. Type achter Subnetmasker ‘255.255.255.0’.
9. Klik op het tabblad ‘WINS configuratie’.
10. Kies ‘WINS omzetting uitschakelen’.
11. Klik op tabblad ‘DNS configuratie’.
12. Kies ‘DNS uitschakelen’.
13. Klik op tabblad ‘Gateway’.
14. Verwijder eventueel geïnstalleerde gateways.
15. Klik op ‘Ok’.
16. Klik op ‘Ok’ in het scherm ‘Netwerk’.
17. Start uw computer opnieuw op.
