eM Client Mailprogramma
Omdat Windows Live Mail (WLM) na 10 januari 2017 niet meer
door Microsoft wordt ondersteund (er komen geen
veiligheidsupdates meer uit) is het verstandig om over te stappen
op een bruikbaar alternatief. Dat blijkt eM Client te zijn. eM Client
- ook in het Nederlands - is een goed alternatief voor WLM.
De enige beperking van de gratis versie is, dat je maximaal twee Email accounts kunt
gebruiken, maar dat zal meestal wel voldoende zijn.

Klik op: Free Download (zie rode kader)
Na het downloaden van eM Client ga naar de Downloadmap op je PC.
Klik op: setup.msi om eM Client te installeren op de gebruikelijke manier.
Sta toe om software op deze computer te installeren: Klik op Ja
In scherm “Your eM Client is installed”: vinkje weghalen bij “Run on Windows startup”
Bij schermkeuze heb ik heb voor Klassiek gekozen
Kies vervolgens: Importeren uit Windows Live Mail
Klik op: Volgende
De mappen + inhoud worden vanuit WLM geïmporteerd in eM Client.
Je e-mailadres is nu aangemaakt in eM Client en klaar voor gebruik.
