Threading the Lower Looper
Open the looper cover.
Place the spool of thread on the right side spool pin.
* The points to thread for lower looper are marked
in green.
* A convenient threading chart is placed on the
machine body inside the looper cover.
1. Draw the thread through the right side thread
guide from back to front: A
* If the thread is coming out from the thread guide,
pass the thread through the thread guide
hole again as shown: B

2. After threading the thread guide bar, slip the
thread into the first guide on the machine as
shown.

3. Hold the thread at both ends and tug gently to
ensure the thread is correctly inserted between
the tension discs. ( If the presser foot lifter is
raised, the thread easily inserts between the
tension discs.)

4. Accrocher le fil sur le coin et faire passer le fil
dans le guide-fil du boucleur.

5. Faire passer le fil dans le levier tendeur de fil du
boucleur (supérieur).

6. Faire passer le fil dans le guide-fil du boucleur
supérieur.
7. En tenant l’extrémité du fil avec une paire de
pinces, le faire passer dans le trou du boucleur
supérieur.
Tirer 10 cm (4˝) ou plus de fil dans le trou.

• Comment enfiler seulement le boucleur
supérieur
Tourner le volant vers soi jusqu’à ce que le boucleur
supérieur atteigne le point médian de sa trajectoire
et décrocher du boucleur supérieur le fil du boucleur
inférieur.
Enfiler le boucleur supérieur. Lors de l’enfilage du
boucleur supérieur seulement, pour éviter
l’enchevêtrement des fils, faire sortir les deux fils sur
la plaque à aiguille et sous le pied presseur.

4. Haken Sie den Faden an der Ecke (B) ein und

5. Schieben Sie den Faden durch den Greiferfaden-
Aufnehmerhebel (oben).

6. Schieben Sie den Faden durch die Fadenführung
des oberen Greifers.
7. Halten Sie das Ende des Fadens mit einer
Pinzette fest und führen Sie es durch die Bohrung
im oberen Greifer hindurch. Ziehen Sie 10 cm
Faden oder mehr durch die Bohrung.

• Einfädeln nur des oberen Greifers
Drehen Sie das Handrad auf sich zu, bis der obere
Greifer auf der Mitte seines Bewegungsweges liegt,
und haken Sie den Faden des unteren Greifers vom
oberen Greifer ab.
