Als het apparaat lang niet wordt
gebruikt, wordt het ter wille van de
energiebesparing automatisch na 3 uur
uitgeschakeld.

Als u het apparaat lang niet gebruikt,
moet u na het uitschakelen met de
toets “Aan/uit” ook nog de hoofdscha-
kelaar aan de achterkant van het appa-
raat uitschakelen (fig. 8).
5.7 Waterhardheid instellen
Na de eerste ingebruikneming of bij
gebruik van een andere waterkwaliteit
moet u het apparaat instellen op de
waterhardheidsstand die overeenkomt
met de plaatselijke waterhardheid.
Gebruik het bijgeleverde teststaafje om
de hardheidsstand te bepalen of vraag
bij uw watermaatschappij naar de
hardheid.
Bepalen van het
waterhardheidsniveau
0 Doop hiervoor het teststrookje ca.
1 seconde in koud water. Schud het
overtollige water eraf en bepaal het
hardheidsniveau aan de hand van de
roze vakjes.
Geen of één vakje roze:
hardheidsniveau 1, zacht
tot 1,24 mmol/l of
tot 7° Duitse hardheid of
tot 12,6° Franse hardheid
Twee vakjes roze:
hardheidsniveau 2, middelhard
tot 2,5 mmol/l of
tot 14° Duitse hardheid of
tot 25,2° Franse hardheid
Drie vakjes roze:
hardheidsniveau 3, hard
tot 3,7 mmol/l of
tot 21° Duitse hardheid of
tot 37,8° Franse hardheid
Vier vakjes roze:
hardheidsniveau 4, zeer hard
meer dan 3,7 mmol/l of
meer dan 21° Duitse hardheid of
meer dan 37,8° Franse hardheid
Instellen en opslaan van het
bepaalde waterhardheidsniveau
U kunt 4 hardheidsniveaus instellen.
Het apparaat is in de fabriek op hard-
heidsniveau 4 ingesteld.
0 Druk, terwijl het apparaat ingeschakeld
is, op de toets “P” (afbeelding 4).
De symbolen "P" en branden.
Bovendien branden de 3 kleine symbo-
len boven de toetsen , en
om de momentele functie van de toet-
sen aan te geven; zie „Speciale modus“
pagina 119.
0 Bevestig de keus met de toets "OK"
(afbeelding 5).
De display geeft de momentele instel-
ling aan. De hardheidsniveaus worden
als volgt aangegeven:
Hardheidsniveau 1
Hardheidsniveau 2
Hardheidsniveau 3
Hardheidsniveau 4
0 Druk vervolgens op de bladertoetsen
“<” of “>” (afbeelding 5) tot het vast-
gestelde hardheidsniveau wordt weer-
gegeven.
0 Bevestig de keus met de toets “OK”
(afbeelding 5). Dit hardheidsniveau is
nu opgeslagen.

Om af te breken zonder opslaan drukt
u op "P" in plaats van "OK".
Als er niet op “OK” wordt gedrukt, gaat
het apparaat na ca. 120 seconden
automatisch terug naar de koffiemo-
dus, zonder de invoer op te slaan.
0 Om terug te gaan naar de koffiemodus
drukt u vervolgens op de toets “P”
(figuur 4) of wacht u ca. 120 sec. tot
het apparaat automatisch terugspringt
naar de koffiemodus.
6 Koffie zetten met bonen
Het volgende proces vindt volautoma-
tisch plaats als u koffie zet met bonen:
malen, portioneren, persen, voorkoken,
zetten en uitwerpen van de verbruikte
gemalen koffie.
