Product Operation Malfunction Routine
Step 1: Turn on the host power and set the host as the dormant state with APP
Step 2: Set the host as pre-upgrade state
Step 3: Start the firmware upgrade on the APP interface
Step 4: Wait for the completion of host upgrading
If distribution network is available, turn on the host power, wait for the successful connection
between host and APP (the connection time may be different due to different network environments),
click "Dormant" button on the APP control interface and set the host as dormant state.
Enter the APP host operation interface, click "..." on the upper right corner, choose "Check firmware
upgrade", and press "immediate upgrade button" when APP pops up a dialog box "new equipment
firmware is found".
Wait for seconds, enter the upgrade state after the host makes prompt tone and "START" key shows
red breathing light, and the APP interface also shows the current upgrading process.
After the host makes prompt tone and "START" key shows yellow light, the host upgrading is
completed. APP returns to the host operating interface. (Note: Whether upgrading is successful
depends on the prompt tone of the host and the yellow light of "START" key, APP may prompt
upgrade failure when the host is upgraded successfully due to the version or network.)
Press "START" key and hold on, click "Wakeup" button on the APP control interface, wait for seconds,
and enter the upgrading state after the host makes prompt tone and "START" shows white light.
If the host is in the pre-upgrade state after powering on but the mobile phone APP is not connected
with the host, complete distribution network under the pre-upgrade state. Refer to "Fast networking"
in manual for the distribution network process, and pay attention to whether "START" key shows
white light when distribution network is successful under the pre-upgrade state.
Upgrading state cannot exit once start, please don't turn off the power supply or do other
operations.
If the upgrade fails, please turn off the host power and wait for 1s before turning it on again, and
the host will enter the pre-upgrade state directly.
Please upgrade it according to the operating steps of "Mode II" before using.
Some part may be adjusted slightly due to continuous development and upgrading of APP, the
actual version shall prevail.
Notice:
Turn on the power switch and press
"START" key to start the machine.
Unplug the power supply of direct
charging port and turn on the power
switch.
When the machine is in the
charging state, press START key
or the Start/Stop key on remote
control; the machine will not
be separated from charging
base automatically or enter the
cleaning state.
The fan fails to work when
installing dust bin for cleaning
(the machine fails to absorb dust
or the wind power is reduced).
The machine has the action of
"Backward->rotate constantly" or
"rotate constantly" after startup.
The machine has the
"Backward>turning->action for
consecutive three times during
operation.
The machine has "Backward"
turning->action every 2 - 3s
when there are no obstacles.
The power switch of the machine
is not turned on.
The power supply is inserted in
direct charging port.
Dust bin is not installed. Install the dust bin .
Clean the dust bin
Clean the suction port
Contact with the customer
service personnel for
treatment.
The dust bin has too much dust.
The suction port is blocked with
foreign matters or hair.
The fan is abnormal.
The collision light filter has dust
or is abnormal.
Wipe the dust
Shake the collision rod
Rotate the universal wheel by
hand and check whether it is
clamped, if yes, pull it out directly
for cleaning.
The cliff sensor has dust or is
abnormal.
The collision rod is clamped.

  • Why does my d500-b hops frequently & move very slow instead of moving briskly & smoothly. I already made sure the universal wheel is correctly fitted & only use the auto clean mode, not deep clean mode Submitted on 28-6-2021 at 14:38
