without a receiver. The headset is connected between the telephone and
the receiver.
Do not expose the device to moisture such as e.g. in bathrooms etc.
Any use other than the one described above damages the product.
Moreover, this involves dangers such as e.g. short-circuit, fire, electric
shock, etc.

Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused
by improper handling or the failure to observe the safety instructions! The
guarantee will expire in any such case.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the device is
inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
Consult an expert when in doubt about the mode of operation, safety or
connection of the device.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of other devices
which are connected to the headset.
Do not leave packing material unattended. Plastic foils/bags, polystyrene

Furthermore, no devices with strong magnetic fields must be in the proximity
of the device. No devices with strong electric fields such as e.g. mobile
phones, radio devices, electric engines etc. must be in the proximity of the
headset.
Because of the variety of used lacquers and polishes for furniture, the
device base might leave residues on furniture due to a chemical reaction.

surfaces without appropriate protection.
Connection
Inserting/replacing the batteries
Open the battery compartment (1) and
insert the batteries into the battery
compartment ensuring correct polarity.
The correct polarity is indicated on the
battery compartment cover or in the
opposite figure. Wrong polarity might
destroy the headset.
Close the battery compartment.
If the headset does not work properly,
remove the old batteries. Insert two new
(AA) mignon batteries and close the
battery compartment.
Thus, you comply with your legal obligations and make your contribution to
environmental protection!
Please observe correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Do not let batteries lie around openly. There is the risk of
batteries being swallowed by children or pets. In such a case,
seek immediate medical care.
Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns
when getting into contact with skin. Therefore, use
suitable protective gloves. Make sure that batteries are not
short-circuited or thrown into fire. They may not be
recharged or dismantled. They might explode!
Remove the batteries if the device is not in use for a longer
period of time in order to prevent electrolyte leakage.
Batteries/storage batteries containing harmful substances are
marked with the following symbols which point out that the
disposal via the household rubbish is prohibited. The
designations for the respective hazardous heavy metals are: Cd
= cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. You can return used
batteries/storage batteries free of charge to any collecting
facility of your local authority, to our stores or to any other store
where batteries/storage batteries are sold!
Mains connection
For connecting a plug mains unit (not enclosed in the delivery), connect the
low-voltage connector of the plug mains unit to the jack (2) of the headset.
Headset clamp
Insert the headset clamp into the holding
device (12) according to the opposite
figure.
Telephone adaptation
As power supply, use a plug mains unit with 6V DC voltage and
a minimum loading capacity of 100 mA only.
Please observe the polarity :
(positive pole inside)
Wrong polarity inevitably destroys the device!
As power source for the plug mains unit, use a 230V/50 Hz (10/
16A) mains socket of the public mains only. Never try to
operate the device at another voltage.
Never try to unplug the device by pulling the cable of the plug
mains unit. Always unplug it from the mains socket pulling at
the housing.
During installation, make sure the connecting cables are
neither jammed nor damaged by sharp edges.
Remove the mains plug unit from the mains socket and remove
the batteries if the device is not in use for a longer period of
time.
Always unplug the plug mains unit from the mains socket
before cleaning the device.
Never replace damaged connecting cables on your own. In
such a case, separate the device from the mains voltage and
take it to a specialist workshop.
