Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise

· Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich dazu bestimmt, im Haushalt und ähn-

lichen Anwendungen verwendet zu werden, wie beispielsweise

- in Personalküchen in Läden, Büros und anderen Arbeitsumgebungen;

- in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen;

- von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen;

- in Frühstückspensionen.

· Lassen Sie Reparaturen an Cloer Elektrogeräten nur von autorisierten

Cloer Fachhändlern oder vom Cloer Werkskundendienst durchführen.

Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den

Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt dadurch Ihr Garantieanspruch.

· Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur an haushaltsüblichen Steckdosen. Prüfen

Sie, ob die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspannung mit der Ihres

Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.

· Das Gerät ist mit einer Anschlussleitung der Anbringungsart „Y“ verse-

hen. Ist diese beschädigt, muss sie durch einen autorisierten Cloer Fach-

händler oder den Cloer Werkskundendienst ersetzt werden, um Gefähr-

dungen zu vermeiden.

· Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,

– wenn eine Störung auftritt.

– wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird.

– vor jeder Reinigung.

· Ziehen Sie bitte nur am Stecker, niemals an der Zuleitung.

· Die Zuleitung nicht zu stramm spannen, da ansonsten die Gefahr be-

steht, dass das Gerät umkippt.

· Ziehen Sie die Zuleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten.

· Benutzen Sie die Zuleitung nicht zum Tragen und schützen Sie diese vor

Hitze (Herdplatte / offene Flamme).

· Kinder erkennen nicht die Gefahren, die beim Umgang mit Elektrogerä-

ten entstehen können.

· Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und älter und von Personen

mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder

Mangel an Erfahrung und / oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beauf-

sichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen

wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.

· Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht

mit dem Gerät spielen.

· Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht von Kindern gemacht wer-

den, wenn sie nicht älter als 8 sind und beaufsichtigt werden.

· Halten Sie das Gerät und sein Kabel außerhalb der Reichweite von Kin-

dern unter 8 Jahren.

· Schützen Sie Ihr Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit (Spritzwasser / Regen).

· Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen oder verstauen.

· Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, mit einem externen Timer oder

einer Fernbedienung bedient zu werden.

· Das Brot kann brennen, benutzen Sie deshalb den Toaster niemals unter

oder in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien, wie beispielsweise Gardinen.

· Entfernen Sie regelmäßig die Brotkrümel im Toaster, indem Sie die Krü-

melschublade herausziehen und leeren.

Basic safety instructions

· This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applica-

tions such as:

- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

- farm houses;

- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

- bed and breakfast type environments.

· Have repairs of Cloer electronic appliances carried out only by autho-

rized Cloer specialist dealers or by the Cloer customer service. Improper

repairs can involve substantial dangers for the user. Furthermore, this will

void your warranty claims.

· Only operate the appliance at household-usual power sockets. Check

if the mains voltage stated on the type plate is up to that of your power

supply network.

· The appliance is provided with a power cord of the attaching type „Y“. If

the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Cloer, its service agent

or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

· Pull power plug of the power socket

– in case of a defect.

– if the appliance is not used for a longer time.

– before any cleaning.

· Only pull at the plug, never at the feed cable.

· Do not tighten the feed cable too tight as otherwise the appliance is

likely to tip over.

· Do not stretch the feed cable over sharp edges. Do not use the feed ca-

ble for carrying and protect it from heat (hotplate/ open flame).

· Children do not realize dangers that are likely to occur because of im-

proper use of electrical appliances.

· This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruc-

tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved.

· Do not leave children unattended to ensure they do not play with the

appliance.

· Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless

they are older than 8 and supervised.

· Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

· Protect your appliance from humidity (splash water / rain).

· Let the appliance cool off before cleaning or stowing away.

· The applaince is not intended to be operated by means of an external

timer or seperate remote control-system.

· The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below

combustible material, such as curtains.

· Regularly remove the bread crumbs in the toaster, by pulling out and

empty the crumb tray.
