Configuratie van de WRE/AP

3. Plaats uw secundaire WRE/AP binnen het bereik van de draadloze

router en vlakbij het gebied waar het bereik moet worden uitgebreid

of een netwerksegment moet worden toegevoegd. Binnenshuis ligt het

bereik doorgaans tussen de 15 en 45 meter.

4. Zet de WRE/AP aan. Controleer of het apparaat AAN staat en ga door

met de volgende stap.

5. Start de geavanceerde setup-utility van de draadloze router door

uw browser te openen vanaf een computer die al op uw netwerk is

aangesloten. Typ 192.168.2.1 in de adresbalk in (typ niet www of

http:// voor dit nummer in).

Let op: Als u het IP-adres van uw WRE/AP hebt gewijzigd, dient u dat IP-

adres te gebruiken.

6. Om de instellingen van de draadloze router te wijzigen, dient u in te

loggen. Door op de knop “Login” (Aanmelden) te klikken of op een

van de koppelingen op de homepage gaat u naar het inlogscherm.

7. In het browservenster verschijnt de gebruikersinterface van de

draadloze router. Klik links in het scherm op “Wireless Bridge” (2). U

krijgt nu het volgende venster te zien.

8. Vink het vakje aan waarin staat “Enable ONLY specific Access Points to

connect” (Laat ALLEEN specifieke accesspoints verbinding maken) (1).

9. In het veld met de naam AP1 (3), typt u nu het WLAN MAC-adres in van uw

WRE/AP. Als u dat gedaan heeft, klikt u op “Apply Changes” (Wijzigingen

aanbrengen).

10. “Wireless Bridging” is nu mogelijk.
